I'm not sure if you guys are into this other stuff, but the shop is also powered by 13.2kW DIY off-grid solar using two 8K inverters in parallel (32kW surge for 5sec, enough to start up the lifts one at a time, or air compressor), with 28kWh of LiFePO4 battery storage. I'm a nerd.

Re: Random other junkers...
Goin to a dyno somewhere else is always going to be cheaper, but there something to be said about convenience. Plus I had the dyno while I was still in college so we had plenty of fun times, and I even recouped a few bucks letting others play around. Even still, we can have wine & dyne nights wh...

Re: Random other junkers...
This is the shop in my backyard. I've had the dyno since 2013. It's an analog DS450 but I've converted it to a YourDyno computer and brake controller. The new software runs on windows and uses Bluetooth ELM327 input and Canbus input to make interface to the car much easier. My PID control isn't as d...

Re: 84-87 Front wheel speed sensors?
Yes, all breakage was with the stock diff. Since installing the OBX, nothing has broken. Luckily, I've only broken axles at the track, all other breakage is on the street. I've never broken a trans from a dig, always during NLTS or in the middle of 3rd or 4th gear. Which is surprising because I beat...

Re: 84-87 Front wheel speed sensors?
I'm using the OBX LSD, it hasn't broken yet. I've stripped 4th gear and the final drives before though.

Well I've been gone a while, but figured I'd post some of the other crap I've been working on. I bought a $2000 blown up focus ST, a s2k, a Ttop 88 to restore, and still have my 2014 Model S that I've upgraded to a Ludacrous P100D. I still have the 84 3800T, and 86 3800SC. 20220813_163824.jpg 202207...

Re: 84-87 Front wheel speed sensors?
I'm running 3.63 F23 with China LSD. I've destroyed a few, but they hold up better than my axle fuses so it works for me. I have cut down front rotors and the 11.25" Lebaron/Seville Upgrade. Rear has an 88 cradle with 12" rotors and stock calipers. I'm not sure of the details because I hav...

84-87 Front wheel speed sensors?
Wow, glad to see this place is still active. I don't think I've posted here in over 10 years! Anyway, I've had my 3800T running on an AEM EMS S1 since like 2008. Its been absolutely flawless, and still running on that same engine! I've finally upgraded to an AEM Infinity and I want to incorporate be...

Stay away from rx, that guy us a hack, many horror stories on the forums. I'll be adding the active inter chiller to my caddy as soon as they finish the move to their new shop.

Both my 'real' 044 have had fittings on them similar to the pump on the right. The fitting on the left is def. not correct.

Good point to bring up. I mentioned the EP381 over there in a few threads, and even still, people will post "Oh, I'll just get the EP376"

I know its been through many hands, but as far as I can tell, that decklid is off of my old car and is completely molded in, top and bottom... I haven't seen another one that had the bottom finished off as complete as that one was. Though it did have some issues on the inside of the mustang scoop, i...

Re: Transmission Swap.
I'm not looking for any credit with anything. I'm not trying to make money of parts, or build swap kits, etc. I have no problem with people discussing the trans, or swapping the trans or whatever. I don't care that you are now pushing it since it has become the hot topic of the boards. What I don't ...

Correct. As far as I know, they were actual GM shafts. Other than the crap chinese one I broke that one time in the middle.
