I have Corbeau TRS seats in my 88. They sit a little higher than the stock seats, but they hold you in place. It's hard to see out the back window and I can't open the center console unless I move both seats forward. They are mounted on modded stock rails. Basically there was a tab welded on them to...

I just went out and looked at my 88 (Shaun has an 88 as well). Not sure if there's a difference between years, but I *think* the front resevoir is for the front brakes. It's hard to track the lines to see where they go. I also think the rear brakes activate just a tad sooner than the fronts to preve...

Just did a compression test. 150 on all 6. Test was done cold. The coolant was drained and the oil changed. This car still sits out in the rain and there are puddles of water in the front plugs. I got as much out as I could before I pulled the plugs, but it seems the water is not getting past the pl...

I read on Old Europe that adding a rear swaybar can cure wheel hop. Like you, I don't see how it would. If both wheels with the sway bar move up and down at the same time, the bar does nothing. But... I guess if the wheels bounced up and down at different times it could either stop it or make it wo...

Yeah, pushrods. I hear they're all the rage these days. After I drained the coolant and used the pressure tester, I found a pin hole leak near the thermostat. It only started to hiss after I got past 12 lbs or so. All I did was run back there and tightened the clamp a little and ran back to the test...

Haven't checked much at all except the cooling system. I plan to do my best to figure out exactly what the problem is before I try to fix it. This motor scares me... I'm having nightmares about tearing into it. What happens if I lose a cam or 6? I hear the pushrods are hard to install... so hard mos...

Oil cooler? I don't think this has one. The filter goes on just like it does on the 2.8s. If it's a head gasket or warped head I might get it fixed, depends on the condition of the bottom end. I might just roll the dice and fix the problem and go with it. I just can't figure it out. There's no smoke...

Huge d/l, but worth it. At the beginning a Ferrari Challenge is in front of the camera car and, sadly, a Carrera GT is behind the camera car. An older white Porsche gets in the dirty and washes out. If you're bored, take a look. That Ferrari makes some nice noises. I think it's a carbed 4.9 swap. Ev...
