yes, I see whatcha are saying.
and, yes - finally read it....fooling the ground as the guy did will raise the output at the regulator, if you need more voltage to charge your battery.

sorry, no I didnt read it. I am just going on the basis of everything in the car is 12v. the alt already puts out more. tho, I guess I should look - more current is always good. tho - I dont see how that happens. power is in watts. watts = voltage X current. usually, if you raise the voltage, the cu...

the pressure differences have to do with the pump & motor design. they work at the most effeicent at that pressure. does NOT mean they cannot attain other pressures. the pressure is handled by the regulator up at the fuel rail - NOT the pump. yes, I have doubt the impeller design of a 12 PSI pum...

Re: Is anyone going to be at the 25th Anniversary show??

Like the topic says. Is anyone from RFT going to the 25th? I know I am going to be there. I live in the Metro Detroit area so I really don't have a reason not to. I would hope that we could get a decent group of RFT's to represent. I also know of a place in Ferndale that charges $700 for a group dy...

much of the problem is not the suspension it is the short wheel base, and how far forward you sit for the rear axles. in the vette, you are longer, which lets you feel it getting loose sooner, and you sit (proportionatly) ALOT closer to the rear axle. this lets you feel it alot more. in a Fiero, the...

Well, I understand why would would want a variable length trumpet but its just not needed. With a good exhaust, cams and ITBs you are looking to make 400+hp and 330+ torque. Why does a fiero need any more power down low to begin with? 1st gear is going to be traction limited and everything after th...

Hahah, as cool as a VGI would be imagine those Yamaha style ITBs adapted to a V6... it would be like the new air grabber/shaker hood, they "pop up" when you get on the gas :love10: I'd rock that... yes - BUT - they actually go DOWN as the RPM's shoot up On the R6 the trumpets go up at a c...

AC Delco Rapidfires. Delco says a #1 at .045 Gap. Try a #3 at .060 Gap, you'll feel a difference in your throttle response. And they're only $4.50 each at AutoZone. I'm assuming 2.8 only open the gap if you have something OTHER than a stock coil. the stock coil already chokes as it is at around 400...

the reason you want to keep the wiring tight against the motor is to keep it out of the way when wrenching. and, once you get rid of the "junk" - there really arent many wires left.

Would be nice if it was a more central location. If my car is reliable up to that point I might make a drive down. We'll see. If my fiero isn't up to it, maybe a cruise in the GTR would be fun too. lol its in PONTIAC, michigan. I dont think nay other state in the union has a city named "pontia...

I'd like to know this too. I really dont think trial & error is the right approach - at least at first. I'd expect some detailed searches on forums, get familear with the terms, and a rough idea of what does what - THEN do the trial & error. I know there are some websites also, where people ...

..... I call the 7730 "mickey mouse" because any setup that requires you to more or less tune by mail order, isn't tuning. I've gone that route myself and it pretty much sucks in comparison to whats available I find it much easier and effective to control fuel and spark on the fly, on the...

at them flow rates, two pounds in flow rate is a small percentage, and you can use fuel pressure to compensate alot more effectively.
