well, I guess a good starting point is: iron or alum heads? I am assuming iron, since I dont think TrueLeo has made the alum head version of his intake yet. so, this means starting with much porting. then, the actual intake manifold. there is much porting to be done there also. the injector bungs, t...

yup. as the oil heats, it gets thinner. yes, this is common knowledge, but i figured something has to be wrong if the pressure drops dangerously low in no-time...we're talking about a 75psi change here. yes - but the degree is not. on high pressure oil pump cars - starting in the winter can in fact...

The oil pressure drops because the oil's heating up. Once the oil temp stabilizes, pressure won't drop anymore. Do you have an oil cooler of any kind? How are you plumbing in your check gauge? You're not relying on the Fiero gauge are you? Engines don't need a lot of oil pressure at idle. I've neve...

The springs he bought are the racing valvesprings that I got with the heads from Falconer. They're good for 7500+ RPM. The .480 lift rating on the Crane cam INCLUDES the stock rocker ratio. .7xx valve lift is full race 572 BBC territory. really? I never thought about if the lift is based on an assu...

that is up to the springs. if they dont bind at the lifts you are applying - then that is it. if the springs are made with something which lets them have thinner coils - then they can in fact have a lower install height. if you are using a Crane 272 - with a lift of .480 for the exhaust * 1.52 rocke...

This probably confused the living hell out of your ECU. I'd avoid doing this if you can Nelson. The problem is that 3 cylinders care getting much more airflow, but the ECU is only fueling all 6 the same as if they were getting the same airflow. And I know you have a pressure/vacuum equalizer, but t...

Re: Dual TB Intake Tuning
I've figured out the timing issue that I was dealing with and now I am trying to get the car driving normally again. The thing is just freakin' slow. It gets up to 25mph in about 10 seconds at wide open throttle. I found that with both cables hooked up, the TPS voltage was only going up to around 3...

3 inch charge piping is huge man. Damn. It will def have more lag then if you had no piping and intercooler on it. Will be more laggy then 2.5 inch piping too. 2.5 inch piping has no problem flowing enough air for 500 hp which I can't see you making more then with your boost levels I would seriousl...
