Re: 12" Wilwood rotors w/ stock '88 calipers?

Thats odd that you're haveing problems with the cad dimensions. I don't have any fitment or contact issues with the control arms and my car is lowered 2 inches. They fit perfect for me, front calipers get clocked up and rears get clocked down.

Re: Northstar 180* headers.

And if any of you are considering 180* headers on your N*, forget it. Unless it doubles the horsepower, it isn't worth it. I hate these fucking things already. Haha. I know the feeling. When I started building the long tube set for my N* I had planned on making them 180* but after looking at it lon...

idles like an old farm tractor. Not so bat on the Autocross. Good thing we can choose cams and mufflers to taste rather than being stuck with that. Where is the video of this car autocrossing? If you're thinking of this car http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oM28HzfROaA then it's not the same one becau...

I suspect that the rattleing in the F40 is probably louder and more noticeable when the transmission is installed in the fiero. The reason being that the current trend is to use a nice light aluminum flywheel and a solid hub clutch disc. This doesn't allow for any damping and any backlash in the tra...

More northstar autocross fun (videos)

Got the car out to another event and everything performed flawlessly. I was unable to get any G-tech data since there seems to be a bad connection somewhere in my power cable. I did however get some videos from inside and out (thanks glenn). The course was kind of a mish mash of previous courses, so...

Re: ??Oil cooler up front??

I got a RX7 oil cooler from the J-yard and was thinking of a good place to pit it. Well the only good place is were it belongs, UP FRONT. This makes for a long oiling system. about 12 extra foot. Think if run 1/2" hard line I can get away with It? I know it will drop psi but don't kn...

Here's a video from 2 weekends ago. The first circle bit was super rough and bumpy. You can see my front right tire come off the ground by several inches. Ended up 3rd overall that day. I got beat by a busa powerd super 7 and my buddy hamish in his talon. I definatly had some time to pick up and cou...

Do you have your build documented anywhere (like on Pennock's)? I see on your youtube videos, I'd be interested to read/see/hear more about the build. Bryce My build threads are kind of struen between these two places. The cardomain site is most of the build stuff and evolution of the car up until ...

Zac, I didn't see you mention it...how far off were you from FTD? Bryce I ended up 1 second behind FTD which was my friend hamish. He drives an 84 vette with z51 suspension, victoracer tires, qa1 shocks, poly suspension bushings, built 700r4 with full manual valve body, and a built 350 on propane. ...

1st Northstar Autocross

I finally got the car back together and out for an event. This was my first event running with the northstar engine. The victoracer tires have been sitting unused for a year so they will take a few events to bring back to life. The first run out was quite slippery but they improved on every subseque...

Do they have a pickup blanket that they can lay over the coils? When I dynoed my car they used a little blanket thing that they taped over the coil packs, I dont see why it wouldn't work for coil on plug.
