Doug- You can try the stainless mix on the steel that should produce the Spray arc you need... It is really worth going to 90/10 though!!! The benifits would easily be seen. Give the tri mix a shot and you should see a big difference and HEAR it too in the way the arc acts... much more controlled wi...

Oh yea... Also i would suggest using a wire such as Lincolns L56 brand wich has i higer Silicon content wich gives EXCELLENT cleaning to the weld. We use this on our two sheet metal robots as they get allot of dirty, oily and mill scaled parts. May work allot better for you too. Lastly (for now) if ...

I see what you mean by starting from iside on the angle iron and working your way out, however ill forewarn you that leaving the crater near the end like that could be bad, as the crater is ...

I am sorry but i still agree (with P8ntman) that there is not enough penetration on those welds, and not to be rude but if you own Chase Race, it makes me concerented that you would build things that require structural integrity with such a weak weld, not to mention with the look of the weld you use...

Who let the person who made that near the welder??? That is an EXTREME lack of penetration! I will have to add the fact that when most people make stuff they use there home 110 Volt welders... For thick mounts this is NOT sutable... trust me, welding is what i do for a living... at none other then t...

Porting And Such of the 3800 Series II Charger.
I was planning to clean up, port (gasket match) and possibly polish the blower from my newly aquired 3800 SC. On the bottom the outlet is very strange in shape with fins crossing the blower outlet. Are these the ones that are there to quite the blower? Can they be removed?
