The emissions in Ontario is pretty rough, and thanks to our government I will have to test the 88 every other year until they cancel this stupid program. NOX is a big deal here and the EGR system deals with such emissions. I know over guys that run there EGR's but have them discharge into the air no...

Well I wish I had the time that some people have Aaron. Even you doing your own exhaust, shit I would love to do that, but I work to god damn much so I guess those good ideas just go to waste. As for the 60mm? Well shit, its only a 3.4 Aaron, I've talked about bigger but it seems as though too big w...

I am getting it for $450 so its not so bad. Its ugly as hell but it comes with a good throttle body (60mm) so I guess that aint too bad. I have been working on my own design but with work being so demanding and me not having all of the tools it was never going to happen. I have had a million ideas, ...

That should be easy enough I guess. That manifold is constructed of Stainless I think so welding shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for the help brother.

Now I could be wrong, and I will definetly have to check my sources BUT I do believe that the car labelled Porsche Eater was the Aluminum frame car (built by Alcan here in Ontario) with the HO Quad 4 installed. I could be wrong, I will research more and post my findings. I have a few friends that wo...

EGR system requirements

I am looking to buy a Trueleo intake from a Old Europe member but the unit is not set up for an EGR. What would be required for me to retrofit this intake to work with the stock EGR system?

I know I will need to route the EGR into the manifold but is there any vacuum lines or anything else required?

Drop the whole LS1 idea, shit drop the whole RX7 idea. Drop an LS1 into the Fiero and shove that up the asses of your RX7 friends. I love RX7's but the Fiero is worth more to you than it is to anyone else. I almost sold my Formula last winter, but I thought it over and decided I would never be able ...

I see what you are saying now. Excuse my ignorants hahahaha.

So next question is.

Runner length for 3.4 with performance modifications?

Now my engineering buddy raves about tappered runners, is it worth the amount of work?

thats about it for now. Thanks for the help Kohburn and the rest of yas

Rectangular port to round intake runners?

Ok, someone must know a thing or two about doing something like this?

I was to build a custom intake, but how would I make a round pipe fit the stock ports?

Is there any value to a high volume oil pump and windage tray, or just a waste of time and money?

Should I change the retainers?

He made reference to both. I have though about doing the gen III heads. That would be awesome. I think I will stick with the iron heads for now. I know there are better blocks, and better heads. But I could go all day naming off better engines too. I really should have been thinking about a DOHC, a ...

I hear ya Aaron. I would love to put a DOHC in, but I love the simplicity of plug and play brother. I should go to a DIS and all that fun stuff, but for now I will do the P/R with its heavy, and crap ass iron heads. Plus it will get the project done quickly so I can start working on other things. Th...

Well I got the Sprint Headers for cheap and they sit in my shop awaiting the day they get bolted on. If merely for looks, I'd still pay the $200. As for the intake, well thats taken care of, it will flow better than stock, and it will look better than the Truleo. The design of the intake has been ar...

Well I was told that the 17lbs injectors are good to 200 hp at the crank. If I follow the same simple plan as Orief, Donk and the othr 3.4 boys I should be able to hit the 230 mark at the crank. I am not sure what else I could do outside of forced induction to make power out of this engine. The 19lb...

I already have the block, and I looked for a roller prior to purchasing the one I have, but I couldn't find one, and the one I bought was just too sweet to not buy. I could have just bolted it in, but I am in bad need of a new hobby as I have lost interest in golf. I meant Sprint Headers, sorry for ...

Engine Rebuilding

I am building a 3.4 block from the ground up. Now most of you will be asking me why I am doing this, and why not just spend the money on a 3800 SC or whatever other engine is popular at the present time. I am building the 3.4 because I believe I can get over 200 hp out of it, and have the ability at...

ECM Tuning?

I guess this question is for Sinister. Will the ALDL data be useful for you when I need my chip burned? Can a chip be burned with some simple baseline data such as the cam, rocker ratio, compression, as well as the intake, exhaust systems? Just wondering as I am getting closer to finishing this 3.4 ...
