you have verified that there is or is not spark actually reaching the plug? Yes, I took a extra spark plug and plugged it into the spark plug wire (and grounded the plug) and saw no spark. Fuses are good, and I am getting power to the ICM. I hear the fuel pump kick on and I am getting fuel pressure...

3800SC No Spark, HELP!
I'm getting no spark with my 3800SC swap. I turn the key half way and i'm getting the check engine light, so the pcm has power. I'm getting fuel, swapped out the ICM with a set that I know works, RPM's are reading while cranking so it's not the CPS. What the hell could it be?

Is the 3800SC SII a interfering motor?
Is the 3800SC SII a interfering motor? Reason why i'm asking is because i'm planning on buying a highly modded 3800SC SII engine this weekend and the time chain snapped on it.

Have you figured out what happened? You can't just leave us all hanging. Can you? I mean come on. I dropped the oil pan last night, everthing seems to look good. Timing chain and all. Oil was clean, no water or metal shavings in it. Also took off the rear valve cover and everything under that looke...

If I was that Cummins owner, I would have offered to tow him off the meridian for X ammount of money. X being the same ammount he bet on the race. The race was for $70, but after he towed him the Cummins owner only ended up paying him $28 lol. So what did the Talon owner do with that money? The dum...

Turbo'd Eagle Talon VS Turbo'd Cummins....both got owned ;)
Friday night I was hanging out at my buddies apt with a few other people. *tip of the day: don't try to bump-pushstart a car in 1st gear the gearing is working against you, try 3rd* hadn't read the voltage part - I've had GM alternators seize and stop an engine before. like will said - pull the belt and see if it will turn by hand I pulled the belts, and the fuckin thing...

As was said above, if you can't turn it over by hand with the plugs out, then pull the belt and see if it will turn over. If you can't turn it either direction, something is seriously fubarred. How did the clutch feel as you were driving it? So to clarify, when you lost power the first time, the en...

out of gear, plugs pulled and it won't turn? and you said the starter turnes if its off the car? sounds like something seized. try turning it with a wrench to see if its stuck in a bad spot or have someone turn it while you look at the teeth on the flywheel for damage.. out of gear, plugs pulled an...
