I'm baaaack

/me sneaks in Hey! So my car has been down for over 1 year. I scrambled the transmission and lost interest for a little while but I finally got my interest back. For the folks I don't know here, I've got an SBC Fiero but you'll never hear me lie about timeslips or HP. Will--is my old build thread ar...

More Parts bin math gone awry

This is how to throw away money on an SBC. http://www.fiero.com/forum/Forum2/HTML/077431.html This is a kick ass small block that's about to be choked by a TPI. The's throwing about $1500 away on heads and a cam that he won't see any improvement on because the TPI won't flow the numbers; it walls on...

Summit racing has some really good relocation kits. The kits have the battery ends as well as some funky clear-covered braided hose. They also sell main junction boxes you can put right next to your battery to address the live wire problem.

That's what I'm running

This kids threads (including this one) would be deleted from tech sections on other boards for being fraudulent. This area is for real information; not BS and wannabees. The idea is a tech library that people can depend on for info; not seving the daydreams of a future college dropout that has no id...

I upgraded my 'land ownership' rights so I can own a giant chunk now. I'm going to try and make a realfierotech.com building.

It's an automatic realtime chat room right now. It might be sophisticated enough for full blown 3D cad/cam objects. I'm not sure how it all fits together yet.

www.secondlife.com

Download this and check it out. www.secondlife.com It's a giant first-person environment--sortof a giant 3d chat with storefronts. This thing is really gaining steam at work. Instead of visiting a website, you walk into a 'virtual brick-and-mortar' representation of it and shop. Any volunteers to he...

On that note, My tranny went south. I've still got all four gears and reverse, but there's major clunking and obvious mechanical binding. At first I thought it was a synchro pack, but now I'm not so sure. I think it's the final drive now. I was already planning to pull the motor this winter because ...

My friend bought a brand new 1985 SVO and I drove it off the lot with him. They were about $1500 more than a GT of that same year and would stay with it. I believe 85 and older were 175HP, 85 1/2 was 205 HP and 86 was 200 HP. It had a switch for cranking up the boost to 16 lbs from about 7. Kinda ne...

I'm using the Held kit for the 88 cradle conversion as well.

I don't recommend them. They're using short springs that come out of their sockets when you jack up the car.

I'm using 350lb springs on the back with an aluminum headed V8.

Clogged catalytic converter is a possibility. Unbolt it from the flange, tie it up out of the way and take a spin around the block.

9.33 at 150mph.

I'm convinced, but I don't understand how they overcome lag issues with that much volume to pressurize.

The only thing that scares me is 'financing available' being mentioned on their website.
