Re: Instrument Panels
For my application, it dropped in, but I have a 4 cylinder, so the tach was already calibrated properly, and this dash uses a 1 wire speedo from the ECM, which my swap also uses, all the other sensors and stuff worked. There is no charge light on this dash, you have to add a resistor there, they ins...

Re: Instrument Panels
I have this in my Fiero. Sunbird Turbo cluster. You will probably have the same tach issues with this though, the speedo is a 1 wire unit, all other gauges are compatible, and was plug and play on my Quad 4. I cant remember the wiring to the cluster though, but I figured it out by tracing the circui...

I was expecting a porn flick so I can get my dick up, because it went limp after looking at those. Not my cup of tea. What were you doing before to get your dick up? Imagining an LSx powered Ferrari F40, cause it seems everything in the worls should have an LSx according to you  . The reason...

Re: Quad 4 2.3/2.4 ICM? Relocation?
The neon coils is just the coils with 3 wires going to it. Chrysler ignition control modules are built into the ECM, all you do is plug the neon coils into the GM ICM (wired up properly), and it works. The GM DIS coils are a pain because they are designed to mount right on the GM DIS module, which h...

Re: Quad 4 2.3/2.4 ICM? Relocation?
Not sure if a standard ICM from a 2.5L or 2.2L will work. I do know that the HO and not HO ICM's are the same. The stock ICM has a 3 wire weatherpack plug on it, so if you do find one, it is easy to relocate, you just have to hook up the wires to the coils. I cant remember what goes into the stock I...

Re: 9 Sec "Fiero" on ebay
Its worthless unless its made by V8 V8Archie! Or do I have that backwards? :unknown: Actually thinking about it, I wonder why there arent more drag cars that use a Fiero body? The Fiero panels would have been easy to come by, and probably cheaper than a custom one, is it a weight issue, or too short...

Re: Engine Swap
Naw, just use it as a year round pickup. The stock 80HP engine isnt as fun, and I figured a rotary is different, and relatively easy to swap into the truk, plus a learning experience. It would cost $500 or more to convert my truck to EFI from the electronic carb, which would include redoing the engi...

Re: What do you guys think of this Fiero?
I run autoX in my Quad 4 Fiero, I think the last thing I would want is a Turbo Heavy V6 Fiero, I dont know about the course's there, but here we have a smaller area, and cars like subaru's and all the other factory, and aftermarket turbo cars barely get spooled up on the longest straights here. A he...

Engine Swap
Picked up this engine to swap into my truck. Going to gather parts as I find them and eventually swap it in. The motor needs a rebuild as it blew the coolant jacket o-ring in the rear rotor. I am going to leave it stock for now, and run a 5-speed behind it, it is 200HP factory, from a 1990 RX7. I pl...

Anybody watch any episodes yet? I downloaded the first 2 yesterday, and I noticed in the first episiode season preview that they have a Fiero in this season, looks like they are doing a challenge simmilar to the British Leyland one from the original Top Gear, all I see in the previews is a brown int...

New engine
Chrysler has a new engine family they are releasing, I know it is not a GM, but they look pretty good, some of the highlights are a planned single turbo version and a twin turbo (400+HP) version, oil to water cooler, 40lbs lighter than GM v6's, indipendent cam timing, no brackets to bolt the accesso...

Fiero with no trunk light
Has anybody ever seen a Fiero with no rear trunk light? There is an 85 2M4 at the wreckers here which just has a grey plastic version of the clear lens on a Fiero with the trunk light. The grey one is identical, but obviously non transparent, it is not painted, I checked for wiring, and there is non...

Re: Auto'Biography
Are you planning on any upgrades? My dads is only polished from the turbo back to the turbo, everyting is stock. With a slipping clutch, he did 15.01 in the 1/4 mile at 87MPH on the first time he went, with the headlights on, and a higher altitude, on stock 14" tires, I think he did a 2.05 or s...
