I'm just regurgitating what the chevy power manual states. I figure they know what they are talking about since ther are the ones who created these heads. I have no other reference to go by. I hope there is some improvement by removing the vane because we need all we can when using the iron heads.

looks like they fucked up the intake runners by removing the shark fin vane...that vane accounts for a 17% increase in flow.

I talked to the turbo tech at garrett and he told me that the T04E14 is a huge turbo mainly used on the ford 7 liter diesels. This turbo has the CHRA of the T04E14, but has a compressor housing A/R of .5 and the turbine housing A/R .63. The trim should be 76. So the way I figured out this is a t3/t4...

I got the serial number and part number off the trubo and when I went to look it up it said something about it being a T04E14. The serial is G1 0120E and the part number is 408105-5285S...it is a Garrett turbo. I tried garrett's website but no luck. i posted all the specs on the turbo I know.

how would this turbo act on a 3.2

It is a T04E14 compressor a/r is .50 and turbine a/r is .63. I have a 3.2 with comp cams 260...could anybody enter this in a compressor map to see what I would get at when? A friend got this snail with his purchase of a turbo celica...he will sell for $500. It is brand new.

No not shivers but butterflies but that was because I didn't know what to expect. I don't know about a tdc/dohc because I hear they are only good for reving. I understand they respond very well to boost. I keep hearing that if the timing belt breaks the valves can and will collide with the pistons. ...

Fuck you guys... :la: I do change my mind alot because I haven't had the chance to ride in all these different engine/fiero combos. Now for the v8...my brother let me drive it today and I really wasn't all that impressed...yeah it's faster than my 3.2 fiero but it doesn't feel like much. When he fir...

Oh yeah and I have given up on the thought of building a v6...my brother's 350 is suicide on wheels and that is what I want. I rode last night and got butterflies so that was the deal breaker. I hope to start in the fall.

Only person you have hard data from is me. So good luck and have fun. You seem to know what you are doing. Prob dont' need anymore he...

I know about the compression.

What is the bore of the 3.4 and a 3.1? Will any SBC pistons fit?

I do plan on making one...I have read enough testimonials. I was just trying see if building a forged 3.4ohv was more cost effective then swapping a 38sc in. The 3.4 would be juiced until i built a turbo kit for it. Everybody says the aluminum heads flow better so just trying see if I could swap the...

shaun - I can make that intake for 1/3 of what you are asking and I like to take pride in doing my own work.

Will the lower intake for the aluminum heads fit the middle intake of the fiero?

What 60* blocks have the 4 bolt mains? How hard would they be to swap in as far as electronics and mounting. I was reading my chevy service power manual for the 60* v6. I was looking at running eagle SBC h beam rods, custom forged pistons. What block/head combo would you guys suggest considering the...

I didn't realize I would start an arguement. I understand that it is hard to compare motor "x" to motor "z". So let me please clarify. I would like to tirbo my motor and run nitrous if that isn't fast enough. I looked into the 3.8 and that seems like way too much fabrications for...

Fully built 3.4 vs 3.8sc

Which woulld be cheaper? i know a 3.4 can be installed easy, but the forged part might cost a pretty penny, then on the other side the 3.8sc takes some custom parts. I want to have the most performance for the least amount of cash. I have neither block.

How do I change the door handle inside

The handle that allows you to open the door from the inside broke. It broke where it connects to the rod that actually opens the door. The whole deal is held in by a rivet, can this be ground or drilled out then screwed back in?
