Thanks for the motivation. To each their own. I like it. And yes you do need a timer if you do alot of hard driving and if you spend the money for a turbo and putt around then you wasted money.

No it wont fit under the decklid but I don't care. It will perform well and last more than 100k miles. How long do L67s last? How expensive is a properly done turbo setup? I mean I understand what you are saying though. I just don't like turbo timers and oil lines, just more points of failure for me...

I am not sure how this discussion has transformed or what the current subject is, but I have plans for a dual M90 3800 as well in the spring after I finish my car. I keep hearing how expensive a dual M90 setup would be but in fact M90s are cheap as hell..they are only $25 in my local yards and you c...

I have extra valves laying around so I am not worried if the valves are bad. I am using oil now. It smokes a little. I will be doing a swap in oct./nov. when I get school loans, so I only need it to last until then.

Thanks for the lapping compound idea.

Shaun- There's a difference between having $ and not wanting to spend it and just not having it. At the time I was putting my heads together I had no extra $.

I didn't get a valve job cause I didn't have the cash.

If there is a difference between wet and dry comp test does that mean it is a ring more so than the valves? Do all cylinders show higher when it is tested wet vs dry, no matter the motor?

Would switching valves into different heads make a difference on compression if they weren't reseated?

I have a compcams 260 and my timing is retarded. If it is a valve problem would having my valves reseated solve this problem. I have switched valves and heads without having them reseated.

yeah my exhaust seals are junk they are those shitty rubber bands. I realized they were wrong as soon as I started my motor for the 1st time. I need to use the premium seals on all my valves not just the intakes. I guess I will check the comp after some new seals. Thanks.

Need input on my cylinder compression

Just looking for some input. Are my compression #'s alarming. I have read that most peoples are in the 150-160 range. My gauge only has 120 and 150 with 5 marks between the numbers so I came up with each mark at about 6psi. DRY test #1-126 #2-144 #3-126 #4-120 #5-132 #6-114-120 WET test #1-138 #2-15...

Would you be able to provide pictures of what you are talking about for reference? At the time the bar idea was the best thing smoking to get my intake to a functional state. I'm looking at different ideas on the net but none are similar to my setup because my throttle rotors are side by side instea...
