I like the access/speed hole. How much did the piece you cut out weigh? Self-fusing tape has saved me on more than one occasion out in the field.

That's the Fel-Pro I thought I knew Out of curiosity, where did you buy that one? It was Fel-Pro's gasket set for '06-'11 Northstar. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1292373&cc=1432039&pt=10424&jsn=13 I only ended up using about half of it... I ended up with an SKF RMS gratis...

Re: 88 L36 swap
What is all this hullabaloo about needing a bigger brake booster on the Fiero's? Up until about 10 years ago my daily drivers were all 1973 and earlier. Late 80's is practically brand new :) I'm a fan. It made a big difference on mine. I went by these instructions: You can do it without cutting the...

Grinders are invaluable when you need one(kinda messy without a vac though, but the vac can be a bit of a fire hazard if you're not careful) I'm running 75amps out to mine. House has a 150 panel and code says I ...

Interesting concept, but yeah, my walls are 2x6. The 12' ceiling and 2nd floor required it.

I meant where your house & garage are Oh. I’m in Omaha Oh, ok. Was going to ask how you intended to insulate/finish the interior... which is relevant to the climate based on your location. Insulate as much as I can. There’s no middle ground here; it goes from one extreme to the other with maybe...

Right now it’s all kinda spread out between my old house, my folks’ place, and a storage unit. Far from ideal for sure. Those are actually the first pics I have of the Pontiacs together. The Dark Side of Will wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 8:35 pmDid you ever mention where all this stuff is?

Bummer. How does the gear on the starter look? Did it ever feel like it was kind of kicking back when cranking over?

Re: The others
They let it cure for about a week, then rolled a bucket of waterproofing tar on the exterior, then backfilled just over a week after that. I think at least some of that timeline was due to scheduling availability.
