Re: New Whip...M powerrrrr

For making power, the S54 is quite an engine. It can push 340 RWHP with bolt on mods. From 3.2 litres. Naturally aspirated. That's where they hit a wall power wise NA... I have seen a few race motors close to 400whp NA... Average bolt on mods will get you to around 315ish, headers, intake, tune. Ai...

Re: New Whip...M powerrrrr

Running great! I have done another round of mods... Supersprint V1 stepped headers, clutchmasters twin disc clutch setup, new shifter, subframe reinforcement, solid diff bushings and solid subframe bushings... power is probably in the 500whp neighborhood. Had a dyno done before the headers at 460whp...

Provent 200 catch can

I have a used but good condition Provent 200 catch can, used an unknown amount of miles, can't be too much as the filter element isn't heavily soiled. Here is a little more info on this unit Here I am looking to get $100 shipped/including paypal fees, out of this. http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e...

Re: New Whip...M powerrrrr

Between start of the intake port and TB, off the top of my head, 1-1.5", it's not much.

The ports look awesome on this engine BTW, Looked CNC ported and knife edged from the factory.

Wish I would have got a picture. The ports were so clean, it looked like it just came from the machine shop!

Re: Another 3.4TDC Turbo up and running

No filter but I do have a metal screen over it for some protection. The crossover is a WCF piece and probably isn't supppose to have that big of a compressor housing in that spot, :pardon: When I said it might be pulling timing, I meant the knock sensor might going nuts from the loudness of this thi...

Re: Another 3.4TDC Turbo up and running

Just thought I would bump this up. I am probably going to try to sell the car here soon, and I figure I should probably put some more miles on the car.. Need to buy a house and I can only keep on toy, and thats definitely going to be the M3. Anyways; So far it has been running great! WOT, not so muc...

FS: QuarterMaster 7.25" twin disk clutch and button flywheel

I will be selling my fiero come next spring and I will not be switching back to this setup in the mean time so time to let this pretty much unattainable part go. This will bolt to any 60*v6, as far as which transmissions it will fit, that I am unsure of. I know for a fact that it fits in a 3.65 4 sp...

Re: New Whip...M powerrrrr

Nothing really new with the car, just been driving it.

I did get a StopTech 355mm 4 piston BBK for the fronts, braking is unreal now... and thats on street pads, I have a set of track pads that came with but havent tried them out yet.

3.4PR 9 11/16 clutch/pressure plate in a 3.65 4 speed

It works, no modifications needed. I am currently using this on my DOHC turbo setup and seems to be doing ok at the moment, but I havent turned up the boost yet... or put much mileage on it yet. I am using a ClutchNet "Red" 6 puck unsprung hub and a "Green" pressure plate. Not su...

Re: To build the ultimate 3.4 DOHC: Turbo DYNO NUMBERS

I think I may just go Spec stage 5.

As for the Tilton, I already have the QuarterMaster. Basically the same thing, I just think the V6 4 speed tranny blows and I dont feel like redesigning everything to run a different tranny.

Re: To build the ultimate 3.4 DOHC: Turbo DYNO NUMBERS

They said 350ft/lbs... I hate Spec, but i want something that will hold until I sell the car or redesign the turbo setup around a new tranny. Spec claimed like 600ft/lbs, now I dont buy that for a second, maybe mid/upper 400's. Im not looking to make retarded amounts of power, running 8lbs of boost ...

Re: To build the ultimate 3.4 DOHC: Turbo DYNO NUMBERS

How much more do you think the clutch can take? Debating between the Clutchnet 6 puck and the Spec stage 5... Streetablity is not a concern here.
