sometimes the clamps that hold the flex hose rust and constrict the flow I just loosen the clamp on the hose and usually it fixes it.

My heater/ defroster flap is wont change position I put in a different switch but that didnt help then I looked at the accuator arm and its not moving. I hate to start ripping apart the duct work if someone else has done it before.

I ran grand am brakes before I took out the prop valve but it didnt seem to help. I took them back off because they were heavier. I run 14 inch wide slicks on the back so its a little different than stock.

I didnot check 0-60 stopping times as I did this to my autocross car. I did loose about a second off of my times in an autocross which is alot, especially when your at the top of your game. I then did it to my street car but I forgot to do before and after times. I just wanted my car to stop! I star...

I recently removed the proportioning valve guts and put more pressure to the rear and now I can lock up the rear brakes. The hole car squats under braking now. I tried limiting the front pressure with a prop valve but that just killed the front brakes. The original prop valve just does not give enou...

heater problem

Does anyone know how to take the heater/defroster flap actuater? I undid the 2 bolts but it looks like I have to take the ducting apart to get the arms off.

2.5 250 hp

It has pontiac super duty big valve head popup pistions 12.5/1 compression ,forged rods and crank, two two barrel 48 dcoe webbers, lightened flywheel,300degree cam with 600 lift, solid roller cam and roller rockers and I turn it 8000rpms. Its a grenade with the pin half pulled but it runs good.

My dad and I took our corvairs to a porche event at putnam park and we got black flagged because we were passing porshes they are so insecure. I was mad and talked to Jim Shart the organizer who has a corvair and he said it was a complement that I was faster and a menis.
