Re: Need custom CNC machining? Parts not otherwise offered?

I can import almost anything EXCEPT for a solidworks file. Save it as a parasolid if you are going to use solidworks. Custom machining is going to be on the pricey side as I price out at $100 an hour for CNC time... depending on what it is it might not be that bad. I'll always quote ahead and I eat ...

Need custom CNC machining? Parts not otherwise offered?

Machinist with a decade of experience and expertise in programming almost anything you can dream of. Do you need a custom part? Do you see a part not currently offered, or one that's subpar and you'd like a different rendition of it? Do you want some custom engraving? Need fabrication? I'm your guy ...

87 Fiero GT 3.4 DOHC Turbo 5 Speed 400+ hp

Most of you probably know this car from some point in time in it's life. It's time to sell it... looking to buy a house. Up for sale is my Fiero GT. Originally a North Carolina car, this chassis and body has no rust at all. Let’s not be mistaken, there is just about nothing left on this car that is ...

Re: Tial Wastegate vs. Tial "style" wastegate

Technicality, but both of those parts are cast iron. They are just different grades of cast. And the non-cast parts of the wastegates are surely different, one probably being stainless the other not. If you're ever not sure if something is stainless or not, use a magnet. MOST modern stainless steels...

Looks like a decent power improvement Josh, and the 1/4 miles times aren't bad. I'm sure there is room for improvement!

Re: Finally dynoed my turbo 3.4 dohc....430 rwhp!

If pressure equaled airflow then people wouldn't have as much need for bigger turbos. For example, while I may have been running 20 psi on my old DSM with the 14b turbo, that definitely doesn't mean that it was flowing as much air as say a 20g at 20 psi would...

Re: Finally dynoed my turbo 3.4 dohc....430 rwhp!

Thanks for the info, I'm running my after market cams straight up right now but I might need to get rid of some of that overlap. I'm targeting more of the 11.8 range and pretty much there but my plugs still read as though I'm lean. Stock plugs, gapped down considerably, I'm running more conservative...

Re: Finally dynoed my turbo 3.4 dohc....430 rwhp!

What plugs are you running? What is your target AFR? Cam timing set straight up? I have been having some detonation issues since I turned up my boost from 12 to 14 psi...

Congrats on the dyno numbers btw! And now I know I can run more timing than I am lol. My dyno charts would proove that too.

Re: FS: Two Talon TSi AWD's, one of them runs 11's.

I've got an itch to sell the Scion and get something AWD again. I liked my DSM, and would consider another, but I have been looking for a EVO most recently. I dont want to waste your time, I dont think I would be interested in the car if I couldn't drive it back here from there...

Maybe I missed it in the thread, but what is ACTUALLY wrong with the 96? Mechanically that is... I know you said transfer case, right?

Re: To build the ultimate 3.4 DOHC: Turbo DYNO NUMBERS

Those are 245's already... I will have to get different rims AND coil overs to go significantly wider than that. I could possibly step up to a 255 without different rims and just getting bigger spacers but that's pushing it.
