Re: Darkhorizon + a budget more than a hamburger =
Any info on that hose blowing off? Was it a front/rear and was it a spring clamp or a gear clamp holding it on? Just wondering why it would have popped off....

Re: 282 vs 287 questions
Why not just hook up the 287 like Rodney does the new style 282? After doing it the hard way for the past couple years, and having had to undergo 3 revisions, there is a very simple way to use the stock getrag cables with a 287. You need to make the same style bracket for the shift shaft into the tr...

Atilla, I made 519ish to the wheels. I beat the shit out of my car. Its gone to the track many times. The F23 has been in my car for over 2 years. Is that enough evidence? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqCAofJdk6g http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a260/Fierofiend/DSCF2104b.jpg http://i13.photobucke...

The manual car is so much more fun to drive from day to day, its a shame how much faster the auto cars are though..

Re: Auto'Biography
I see you mentioned the GA fuel pump. If you pick one up from PAP, or the like, look for a 92-94 4.3L blazer, Jimmy, etc. They use the same pumps the syclone, typhoon, TTA, etc. Check cross references for other fitment. I recently picked one up to replace 'another' in-tank walbro.

Re: Fueling DOES make a difference.... lean surge...
Changed the plugs out at the dyno with a non-projected tip version and the car still did it. As of right now I'm thinking its a fueling issue. I'm hearing some clunking inside the tank at key on, and I'm guessing my feeder walbro is dying again. When the car is cold it runs great, once I've been dri...

Re: Fueling DOES make a difference.... lean surge...
I tested the primary coil resistance and they all checked out fine. I still have to check the secondary and the wires. I also pulled the fuel filters apart and both elements looked rather clean with no signs of build up on them.

Re: Fueling DOES make a difference.... lean surge...
Yeah, I run 2 billet inline fuel filters, a 100micron steel mesh before the pump and a 20? micron paper after the pump. I'm gonna pull the steel mesh one apart and clean it. The replacement paper element is like $15, so I'll get another one ordered just in case. You guys are going to enjoy this. I'm...

Re: Fueling DOES make a difference.... lean surge...
Good suggestions guys! I haven't talked to AEM about it because I'm not sure its software related. There ECU does have traction control, but I don't have it enabled. Rather than use the traction control setup, I have a switch retard. The switch is a momentary one, and upon release, it pulls 15* of t...
