Re: 262's R07 parts collection, AKA project "Full Retard"
I was perusing ebay, the parts don't seem all that expensive, but why can't I find an R07 blocks? I thought the block was specific as well.
Fwiw, isn't "full retard" a movie quote from some crappy comedy movie.

Re: New Camaro!
The 2LT has dual zone climate control. My '59 SL (which came out in '54) had dual zone climate control. Glad GM thought it was a novel idea 60 years later. I think the new Camaro is a bit of an improvement in the looks department, though I do see that horrible Fiero-Plazma Rebody in the rear 1/4 pa...

That car didn't have an appraisal for $50,000, thus, your comparison is worthless.

Re: Aftermarket Wheels
A set of those Centerlines just sold on the Facebook Fiero group for $700 today... I was told in another forum (Old Europe) that those centerlines go for 3-4 grand normally. (Not just 968's...but Fiero specific ones) Did the person who told you that have a set on their own car, and were they not in...

Re: Aftermarket Wheels
What he is driving at is most people in the Fiero community spend 1/10th of your asking price on their whole car and then continue to bitch about subsequent $50 expenses. I was serious about letting us know if they sell, I've passed on 928s on CL before for what I thought was too much money, if you ...

Re: I don't have that Series8217 money but...
Car is off at paint now, front bumper was cracked up and the hood and tops of fenders had some damage to them. Looking forward to getting it back, interior re-dye will probably also happen while the car is down in Cincinnati after it leaves paint.

Re: The Budget BMW Part 2
Guides arrived late last week, timing chain was back-ordered, supposed to show up today, we will see. I will post pics of the factory tools and the chain replacement process when we take it on hopefully one evening this week. One of the pot-metal door handles is broken on the car, picked one up at t...

Go 3500. It's 2015, no sense in redoing a .nl build from 1994.
Didnt Shaun have a way to retain the Fiero intake manifold using like gen2 heads on a gen3 block or something? If you HAD to have the red intake.

Tell me you've put 35s under a cayenne or something silly to justify getting rid of the apocalypse wagon.

Re: The Budget BMW Part 2
So I haven't updated this yet, motor is out. New motor has a broken timing chain cover, the alternator bracket is cracked, so I pulled the timing cover off the dead motor. It too is... unusable. http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s50/CincinnatiFiero/CincinnatiFiero008/IMG_1025_zps4lmmkuxv.jpg http:/...

Re: I don't have that Series8217 money but...
Met a guy who did an S52 swap into an E30 cabriolet. He parted a 318iS and a M3 sedan to build his ideal vert. Anyway, my buddy and I went over and bought out all of his remaining parts. Got a good number of stock parts for the M3. Got stock springs, bilstein rear dampers, and a stock airbox. Also g...

Re: I don't have that Series8217 money but...
Needs LTW wing Oh I've been looking. The front bumper is pretty cracked up, I picked up a new bumper, and the hood and fenders have some damage so the car is getting some paintwork done. If I could find a cheap LTW knock off wing I'd have it painted at the same time, the only one I've found on eBay...

Re: I don't have that Series8217 money but...
Got these from a friend in the wheel repair business, someone traded them in, they are marked 350 front, 360 rear, which should mean they are real 1995 LTW wheels. They probably weren't off of one of the ~125 E36 M3 LTWs but they were a factory accessory in 1995. http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...

Re: I don't have that Series8217 money but...
A guy who comes to my dads lot, good guy, quality seems better on my "cool" cars than production work out on lot cars. He air brushes the leather, does a nice job. Cost is a tough question to answer, he's into cars and has become a friend, he usually charges me $20-100. Depending on what w...
