I am running factory gaskets or Felpro equivalants. Working just fine so far. I am guessing you are on stock valvesprings now? They should be ok as long as you are still using a factory cam. I am guessing the dsm injectors are 440cc's? Thats a decent amount of injector for a 2.8. SHould hold up to ...

prepping a 2.8 for turbo

besides MLS headgaskets and a good set of valvesprings, is there anything else I should look into?

fuel and ignition upgrades are a given and I'm also running an aftermarket ecm(MS2) so I can properly tune the thing as well.

Thanks!

I don't think they are low impedence so they can probably be used. I however am not sure if its possible as I don't think the tips are the same size as like a delphi injector. They might not fit snug in the injector bung. ARe the injector clips even the same? the clips appear to be the same but the...

a few pics of my old junk

I don't think I've formally introduced myself but I came on here seeking information for a turbocharged 87 SE project I sort of fell into :) While I'm doing that, I figured I'd share a couple pics of my other toys: Enjoy! This is my 1972 Honda CL450. I just finished making the thing roadworthy again...

DSM injectors?

Does anyone know if DSM injectors will physically fit on the 2.8's setup? I'm running a MS-II so the impedance and whatnot won't be an issue.

Thanks!

I have a stock LS1 cam out of a 2000 Firebird you can have for the cost of shipping and a 12pack. It should be more lift and duration vs. what's in the LS4 but not enough to throw off the factory tune. The only thing that *might* be an issue w/running it is that I think I remember something about a...

Air/Water intercooler question

For the folks that have them, where are you mounting yours? I was thinking possibly where the stock v6 muffler sits but I'd like to consider a couple of other ideas before I settle on anything

Also, I'd like to keep the trunk intact if at all possible

Thanks!
