I was tempted to say install a 4.9, but everyone else beat me to it. Bastages.

All kidding aside, Ryan Hess seems to have the northstar "knocked" in terms of ECM and wiring. Maybe he can come up with a solution for you.

The firewall is a single layer, except down near the bottom -approximately the last foot. It actually forms a sort of tunnel across the bottom. The right side is empty, but the left side has the fuel filler tube and a vent line (I think) in it. Check this link... http://www.fierosound.com/stereo.htm...

IIRC, they usually ship priority mail. I always get their shipments really quickly, but then I'm on the same side of the border.

I know that having stuff shipped from Canada really sucks.
I can only assume that shipping to Canada is just as much of a treat.

Good luck with Mopardom. Hopefully I'll be joining you in a couple of years. Not like I can actually afford a new Challenger, but it's something to aspire (perspire?) to. I've had a couple of early 70s Barracudas. Complete shitpiles (when your late teens and would rather get high or laid, it's hard ...

I'll be really surprised if they come out with more than two V8 options. I'm betting on an economy motor of some sort (the 4.2 Vortec I6 will surprise me, but it's a beast in our Trailblazer, so it could happen.) Maybe a base V8 (5.3 with DOD sounds reasonable) and a Grand Mamooo 6.3 for the SS. It ...

I haven't heard good things about the Intrepid V6. (Think it was the H.O.) Something about tiny oil passages that become blocked if the oil isn't changed like clockwork.
Could be wrong on which engine, though.

I get ~20 with my 3.4/automatic. Best ever was ~23. I hope the Getrag transplant will help, but the heads and cam may offset it a bit. At least until the novelty wears off. The 4p9/4T60E also gets ~20, but the novelty still hasn't worn off of that one, either. I still stand on it with impunity. Just...

According to Tunercat, the fuel cutoff in an 87 is ~5850 RPM and the resume speed is ~4000 RPM.

It's effectively disabled in the 88.
Cutoff is 1310720 RPM. Resume is 655360 RPM. (That's what's in the table.)
