If you part it out, let me know as I may be interested in a few of the aftermarket parts.

A good week
I just thought I would share. http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/302667_694399625859_43801663_35379258_794183471_n.jpg The week started off great with the fun NASA Rocky Mountain banquet and the nice trophy I brought home from that. Then I headed down to Barksdale AFB, LA for the score p...

Re: Build Thread: RX8
Man, that is suprisingly horrible gas mileage. I get like 16/27 in my CTS-V and that has to weigh a lot more than the 8. I bet I could beat you around most tracks as well.
...maybe.
Anyway, looking forward to the build. I think it'd be cool if you dropped some weight (seats, etc).

Re: Some new pics of my Jeep
About 8.8 mpg city... The soot covering the rear hatch is a nice touch too.
I do want to take it down the 1/4 sometime this summer. I've never actually been to the strip before.

Re: Some new pics of my Jeep
Looking good. I'm still having fun with mine as well. Still have an O2 wiring issue that's killing my gas mileage though. The Mopar exhuast on mine is fairly loud, but that's also with headers and catless though.

Re: Yah for me!
4 years? Long ass time at one station. I might run into you in Vandy-Land if I stay with Orbital on the civilian side. OTOH, someone in Millington, TN lost their damn mind and gave me an oak leaf... got me thinking about going back to activde duty. Yeah, missile ops is always a 4-5 year tour. It su...

Re: Yah for me!
Where are you assigned and what's your next tour looking like? I've been here at FE Warren in Cheyenne, WY for about 2.5 years now and still have 1.5-2 years to go. After here, I'm thinking that I'll most likely head back to Vandenberg in Cali to to be an instructor or part of a test program there.

Thanks. Yeah, it should be close to that a month gross, but we'll see how much actually makes it to my bank account...Atilla the Fun wrote:You gained an additional grand per month! Damn! Congrats!
Yeah, I recall how excited my sister was at making Lance Corporal before getting out of the Marine Corps.

I was looking for an old post of mine and came across this thread. Somewhat funny as I'll be promoting to Captain in two weeks.

Some pics of the 'new' Jeep
Thought I would throw up some pictures of the new acquisition. A few weeks ago I ended up buying a new (to me; it's an '07) Jeep. I'm really liking it so far. I just need to get the tune squared away. Anyway, here's a few pictures of it and the CTS-V. Both are really, embarrassingly dirty (the V has...

Re: Jeep SRT8 mods
So last Friday I ended up picking up an '07 burgandy with Vortech, nav, HIDs, headers, etc. It's really clean. I need to get the tune squared away though. It's running really rich and throwing codes. Aaron, any suggestions of good places in CO to check out?

Re: Jeep SRT8 mods
The one I'm looking at now and trying to work out a purchase is an '07 that seems to be in really great shape. The best part is the supercharger under the hood and the (supposeded) internal work. This thing is ridiculously fast...

Re: Next car dilemma
A friend of mine up here in Cheyenne is looking to sell his NSX I think so if you decide to go that route, I could get you two in touch.
That would be a pretty sweet build I think. I really like the looks of them, just are underpowered.

Re: Jeep SRT8 mods
I've seriously been thinking about getting one of these lately. I'm actually pretty set on doing so. I'm looking for probably an '06-'08 black at a dealer. Only way will be if they not only have a good price on it, but also will give me good trade in on my F-450. Then I would sell my Blazer private ...

It is good to see a Fiero on the track.
I've had to avoid a Miata in a turn that spun similarly.

Really nice looking car and good numbers! ...and on a Fiero forum? wha!?
But really, nice build. Cars like this make me want to get back to work on my Fiero.

Re: Worked my way up through HPDE and into Time Trials!
Well by NASAs club rules, there are four levels of High Performance Driving Events/Education. 1: For road course beginners. You always have an instructor in the car with you. Very limited passing areas and the requirement to follow the 'school' line as it's safer. 2: Once you get signed off by an in...

Worked my way up through HPDE and into Time Trials!
This past Saturday I got signed off for NASA HPDE 4, and now that I had a successful day in 4 on Sunday I can get my Time Trials competition license. I'm pretty excited about that and can't wait to start competing. I'll be running the V in TTB.
