Re: Installing 3500, LZ4, for the time being

It still leaks oil and it's def coming from the bell housing area so it's gonna have to come back out.

But I think I'll try to put a couple miles on it first and do some pulls and see how it feels on 14 lbs. Maybe a Dyno just to see where it sits powerwise? Lmk what you think.

Re: Installing 3500, LZ4, for the time being

Injectors are not leaking. But I seam to have a rear main seal leak, or the rear cam plate has a small leak. I had to remove the cam seal to install the new cam bearings with spacers, so I am leaning that way, however this engines oil pan was covered in oil and dirt when I picked it up so who knows....

Re: Installing 3500, LZ4, for the time being

Fired it up today. I had Howard over keeping an eye on any potential fluid leaks. Seems to be ok. I might have a small leak at an injector. What I will have to do to verify is to pull the upper intake off to see if anything is leaking. I had pulled the injectors to clean my rails just in case the e8...

Re: LS4 build

Fiero guru built his own new lower cradle and if I recall, there was some weight saving but not as much as I think should have been considering the amount of time it took to build.

Re: Installing 3500, LZ4, for the time being

Progress is slow. It's hot. Very little motivation since I won't be driving it for several more months. But I did get the turbo mounted up today.

My distributor pre oiling tool

Here it is. I didn't make it. I bought it when I had my distributor modified for the lz intake.

I remember that being done a while back. I must have forgotten that it broke too. Cool you ended up with it.

Re: 40th anniversary Dyno results

] I heard the laps were speed limited and no passing allowed -- at all. What the hell is a pace car doing at a track day? Bizarre. That is not a track day. It's a "track day" for fiero owners. Stop hating man. Parade laps are exciting for 60 year old fiero owners who, in the end, wives' w...

Re: 40th anniversary Dyno results

Danyel bought a car that someone else maintained for years. Danyel takes full credit for that. What a douche

Danyel V8 turdbucket wouldn't have won shit. Which is why he got rid of it.

Re: 40th anniversary Dyno results

Shaun isn't welcome at those events. Remember the video of the old skinny guy trying to break the window on Shaun's mustang? Shaun has no obligation to attend a Fiero dyno day and put himself in harms way to make his point. He sacrificed his good standing in that community a long time ago to make s...

Re: 40th anniversary Dyno results

383. This is Tina's old car. 307 whp. This guy messaged me out of the blue on FB. Unsolicited right before his Dyno, talking trash.
Saying "come get some". He hasn't said anything to me since. Hahahahahaa.

Re: 40th anniversary Dyno results

[] this is kinda disappointing, it's about 45 seconds worth of typing to make a table showing each car and it's output, somehow, I'm not surprised though. Wanna know what several people on FB said? "Some people have more important things to do.". Or, "some people have more important ...

Re: 40th anniversary Dyno results

I didn't like that the Pickardt car won the award for highest horsepower, yet its horsepower is unknown, and we don't know who the runner-up is, nor its horsepower. I have found that fiero owners are the only car culture that will hold a Dyno event, and refuse to talk numbers. Ever. I stated before...

Re: 40th anniversary Dyno results

The pickardt car did make 531 according to the owner. Posted on FB Most others are unknown, noone is talking about it, the car owners aren't being forthcoming... For the most part. The guy with the manual trans 3800 came forward on FB and listed his mods and numbers. So two cars so far. I bet danyel...

Re: 40th anniversary Dyno results

.... life support Shaun.. It's hilarious Tina's car was up there and nobody knew. I remember talking to the guy who built it for her in 2008, and he was saying she didn't suck a good enough dick for what he did for her, lol. Hahaha. I'm flatlining here. Eric seems butthurt. Why do fiero owners get ...
