If you do another run of bearings shells, put me down for an 88 front set.

it'll be a hard sell, if you were closer to WA, I may be able to help you, but the only person I know who could use it wouldn't be able to drag it that far.

Re: Prices for Stock Fieros
fieros are such a niche part of the market, that their price swing is always going to be all over the place. Personally, I don't see myself spending more than about 2-3K on one.

Congratulations! Welcome to being a serf to the land itself rather than the lord. thanks, I have a ton of work ahead of me now though! I'm now the owner of ~13 acres Wow; we didn't see that from the photo! yeah, I sometimes keep my cards close to my chest... I have big plans, but I need to iron out...

Re: Will's Bug Out Rig: Duramax Van
I really need to give the brakes on my 2500 some love, I think the hardest part will be finding the time to do it. interesting note on the front break rotors, I'll have to keep that in mind when I need new rotors. You were probably a victim of autocorrect, but I still find this funny... https://www...

The new coolant fill let's you ditch the inline part, which is also weight reduction! I like the fill, I wish there was a convenient way for me to add one to my car without it being bulky. my typical fill procedure seems to get the system filled very quickly though, without much mess, so I'll probab...

Re: The Hunt!
well, looks like I'm now the owner of ~13 acres in South Carolina. I closed on Friday, but haven't had time to do much other than move a few loose items out of storage and into the garage. I would like to get most of the fleet moved over there by the end of the week, but I have work every day until ...

Re: the pig rig?
the two stuffed pigs ("Piggles" and "Wiggles") were picked out by my niece to "keep me company" when she found out I called the truck "Pig Rig", so I try to get them in a few pictures here and there for her. in no particular order: https://i.imgur.com/WyFrRFp....

Re: the pig rig?
I've been without the Pig for a while until recently. I flew back to Washington, after it had sat for a month, put the key in, and boom! fired right up! I started towards Glacier National park, but made a last minute decision to do Yellowstone instead. I'll upload some pictures later, for now, here'...

the trucks have the connector inside, and not weather sealed. I need to see about finding a replacement connector too. I don't want to replace the whole pigtail There's at least one more body on eBay right now. Edit: Or did you mean the GMT800's use a different connector? yeah, GMT 800's don't have...

when I build my shop, I plan to pour a footer around the perimeter of the slab, it tends to help with erosion at the edges of the slab.pmbrunelle wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 6:49 pm Oh nice!
Is slab-on-grade a usual way of doing things in your area, versus digging a trench and having a footing a few feet down?

Re: The Hunt!
Looks like a decent place. what are the dimensions of the garage? I imagine the concrete block walls and steel roof will make for easy maintenance. I don't have the exact dimensions handy, but I think it's about 36x25 or so. it's big enough for now, but I do plan to build something much bigger even...

Looks ready for a flywheel! That's an interesting RMS design, almost makes me wonder why gm didn't use it elsewhere that I am aware of.
I'm curious how you're going to carve 2 pounds off the water manifold, that's a significant amount of aluminum!
