All you need to do is figure out how to mount the whole cradle in the fiero, install a servo of some kind, code some code, and you'll have 4 wheel steering!

I're really not done that much with engines. I'll be lucky if I can replace the head gasket(s) for under 500 bux.

A standalone? You do mean RX-8 dash/computer/thing right?

What about the transmission?

All this stuff is currently pretty far over my head, so I need a stepladder!

Renesis rotary engine + Fiero

Can it work? IIRC, you can't get the new rotary's from the RX-8's by themselves, but if you could, could one be stuffed into the Fiero?

Anyone live in my area?

Just wondering if there are any fiero meets or clubs in my part of the world. I've seen a couple other fieros in my area.

Arroyo Grande, California
about 20 minutes south of San Luis Obispo.

Just turn it on and see if somebody pulls over. Everyone and I while I'll set my car alarm off while I'm driving like if I see somebody coming up REALLY fast on me. Time it so the alarm goes off right as they pass. Most of the time they hit the brakes pretty hard. But anyway, one time I really wasn...

I suppose. I wouldn't dare try to pull someone over though.

yeah sound slike time for a coolant flush and a water pump - make sure you get one with a metal impeller I sure hope so. I'll replace the water pump and get it flushed. My dad, who used to own the car, had replaced the water pump twice. First one he used had the plastic impeller blades, which faile...

So what, LOL!

Yeah, I know I'm a cheap bastard, but Kragen wanted $60 dollars.

Why have it in a Fiero? Mainly for shits and giggles. The hardest thing to put in was the stupid 100 watt speaker. It all works, and looks cool when it's on at night. I can either yell at people with the PA, or I can talk with the cheap piece of crap CB radio I installed (not shown). Also, One day w...

Extra awesome lights installation!

I've finally done it to this, the third car I've owned. Bought a Whelen 90 watt 6 channel strobe supply, 4 clear 32 watt hideaway strobes, a whelen headlight flasher thing, a police siren, and a 100 watt speaker. The siren seen on my dash is not installed there, that's just a pic of it. I put it und...

I don't even know. Crap in my coolant and strange noises.

Strange things have been going on with my Fiero as of late. 1988 v6 2.8 'Formula', ~222.5k/miles I recently replaced my alternator, after having installed some electrical things drained my battery, etc. Also had the 3-speed auto rebuilt, with a transgo shift kit, all which cost me ~1500 bux. Startin...

Seconded. My father replaced the master cylinder on the Fiero when he owned it, and he couldn't get the brakes to work properly until one day he used the parking brake and it nearly solved the problem.

No Gurantees though.

Coolant leak (and how I fixed it)

Auto parts stores? Forget about it! I couldn't find someone who knew what I was talking about until after I fixed it, naturally. My car (88 Fiero Formula) suddenly leaked out nearly all of the coolant while I was driving home. I found that there is a strange plastic connector that connects the pipe ...

Great! I was wondering myself how to get the heater core out. I bypassed it since I got the car, since it leaked coolant all over the inside of my car.

I just need to find a core somewhere. What should I expect to pay for one?
