it is not the clutch switch because it never did this before the cams and its at idle that it will sometimes die, not comming off the thorottle. Also, the injectors are 94-95's. Should have no issues there...

It could be the cam timing. Damnit! Does anyone have the tool for sale that Kohburn used to sell? I have always borrowed it, but I should just get one now. BTW, these are custom cams, not the 96-97 cams, I put the 96-97 intakes on, perhaps thats where the confusion is. Overlap might be a part of the...

Help me get my car's idle good! (3.4 DOHC)

Hello, I have had on going idle/driveability issues with my car ever since I got the cams/96-97 intake manifolds put in it. Mainly the driveability is good, but the idle sucks ass. In fact, it seems that whenever it is below 2000 rpms and you aren't on the gas at all it runs like shit. 4th gear at 3...

With my 3.4 DOHC before the cams and 96/97 intake I ran a: 60': 2.054 (shitty, I know) 1/8: 8.881 @ 79.49 1/4: 13.812 @98.71 That was opening day at the track so it was busy as fuck and I couldn't launch worth a damn because the track wasn't being maintained well enough. But that is still damn close...

I figure that if you knife edge the divider your issues will not be too severe. But requires porting heads, and alot more work. Either way there are alot of DOHC engines that probalbly use the single spray type injectors.

Ryan, If you are reading this I would be interested in doing the new code mask with my setup. I got some scan tool information for you when I was at WOT and at idle and at crusing, so hopefully we can take care of the issues with stalling upon idle. The fuel trim in both long term and short term was...

It's Ditch on Old Europe. He doesnt even like it that much to be honest. He's looing at either doing the 3.4 TDC or t...
