What do I do? She's starting to get fat...

Well, I've been with a girl that is now my fiance' for a while. When we first met she weighed in at just around 135lbs. She is around 5' 2" or so... Maybe a couple inches taller, but I doubt it. Anyways, in the last 5 months she has done nothing but eat and gain weight. She's currently up to al...

I would sell the 25" FMIC (Never used) and all the couplers that I had for it for $145 + s&h. I think it is a GodSpeed Racing part... Never heard of them, bought it locally. I am pretty sure I have the original radio brackets and I don't know about the cubby hole. I'll have to check. But I'...

Kohburn - I figure I can get between $4-5K for the car parting it out, so unless you want to pay something around $4K for a non-running DSM go for it!

If you're serious about it, I'll definitely figure out how much I'd need for it. Parting it is a recent development, so I have to figure out how much I can get for parting it out completely.

I'll get back to you!

I'm done with this Damn DSM...

I'm parting out a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. It is in awesome condition, but there is just too many electrical gremlins. It's no longer worth my time. Here are the stats on the car: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/member.php?u=56691 The interior is in near perfect condition, the exterior has very ...

If you are going to test a relay, just pull it out and use a few pieces of wire on the two terminal that get ground and "+" 12v. If it is in your hand you should feel the "switch" inside move and hear the click. If it is a bad relay, you will hear one of two things> 1. It will ma...

Shaun, do you know anything about how to wire up a relay, or how they work? I don't want to undermine you if you already understand a basic automotive relay. Just in case you don't... To test the relay apply +12v to post 85 and ground to 86. They are the two vertical-facing posts on either side of t...

hilarious eh? Well first off you need to recognize the difference between a big T28 and the big T28 Killer. It is a turbo designed to be specifically better than the standard t28. Read about it here . The reason that I'd like to get this one over the big 16g from the evo is because of ease of instal...

Working on a new ride... '95 GSX

Well, I was in the middle of a 4-speed to 5-speed tranny swap on my fiero and I got an opportunity to pick up a black '95 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX for cheap. So I pulled the Fiero out of the garage and I put this one in its place. The timing belt broke on it and bent all 16 valves... So, lots of work ...

well, if the stock MAF can handle any amount of boost then that's probably the best way to go. I Don't think it would be too terribly tough to sell the stock supercharger somewhere and pick up a stock NA3800 intake and throw it on top. Although, to buy a used stock NA3800 is much cheaper usually tha...

Crzyone - That's an interesting point about VE and identical boost levels. I thought about just starting with a SC3800, but I'd rather just start with a NA3800 because I'll be building the engine up with forged internals anyways. I'd set it up to handle boost and I think it'd be fun to throw somethi...

Aaron, you and crzyone both made some really good points in the thread that I started about the look of my car, when it came to the engine swap that I want to do. I've been reconsidering my turbo'd 350 swap idea for a turbocharged 3.8NA. I say turbo'd 3800NA because I want to build up a series 2 NA ...

Just doing a little homework here...

I hear what you guys are saying about the heavy front end look, but I kind of did that on purpose. You see, I feel that the fastback body style, although it does look good, has a "heavy" ass-end to it already. I might put some type of a rear diffuser on the rear bumper someday but for now ...

I'm hoping to get into the 12's with a turbo'd 350 SBC.

This is an example of the color that I'll get it painted...
