Re: Imported another - Toyota this time

Well I removed the airbox intake resonator with promises on alltrac.net of tons more spool noise and mad caaaachuuuu wastegate noises. Strangely, the car is no louder, but it feels considerably faster and I notice 1psi more on the boost gauge. Who knows. https://www.185performance.com/josh/gt4/st185...

Re: I was told I would receive my own forum.

Had the carbon hood painted to match and got a JUN(style) lip for it. Had the OZ wheels redone in a grey/bronze that is sort of close to the stock R32 GTR wheel color. Center caps aren't on in the pics, and I calculated the offset a big wrong, so I need to get some spacers and put the center caps on...

Is this related to the Radical SR8 engine, or are there two people doing Hayabusa V8s?

Given the value of 308s anymore, you're surely the only person using a tow rig that looks like that to haul one around. My dad and uncle put the trailer together about the same time Enzo was putting my car together. It uses the air suspension from a GMC Motorhome ("Travel-All" in some cir...

Re: Imported another - Toyota this time

I've got a thicker rear bar on it, I don't notice any body roll. It actually has much better turn-in than the GTR. A friend has a JDM ST205 in town, I need to link up with him someday and compare.

Took a couple pics yesterday. Got the A/C working, new OEM exhaust hangers from the dealer, and a couple other little things. http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s50/CincinnatiFiero/5422D4A0-05D8-4BE5-8095-5C9E8BABBDF7_zpse19q8jzh.jpg http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s50/CincinnatiFiero/F6822B7F-7A...

Re: Parting a 1984 SE 4speed

So, someone on .nl asked for a price on the rear clip, hood, fender, and the floor mats. I told him $200, he told me that is too much. What are Fiero parts worth anymore? My time isn't worth much less than $200 to pull all those parts so maybe I'll pull what I need and shred the car. Also was told $...

Parting a 1984 SE 4speed

Yeah, I did in fact buy another Fiero. Holy, freaking, crap. 1984 Fiero SE 2.5 with the 4speed. Something like 84,000 miles, I have a clean Ohio title for it too if you needed a frame. I was going to buy bits and pieces to finish the "restoration" of the 10,210 original mile 84 I have had ...

Re: I don't have that Series8217 money but...

Took a deposit on this one, but as previous experiences have shown, it may not be sold, who knows.

Will this sale turn into another car, or a fuel system and engine management for the GTR... that is the question.

Re: I was told I would receive my own forum.

August 4th. The 4th wheel finally shows up from the UPS lost and found. UPS wouldn't process the damage claim to the other 3 wheels until I had the 4th. So the process drags on. http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s50/CincinnatiFiero/2425D82F-8592-4C4A-993F-8EDF9493382F_zps77247znx.jpg They're all sc...

Re: Imported another - Toyota this time

Import duty is 2.5-3%. For some reason on my GTR I paid 3% on the first $1,000 2.5% on everything else. They did note on the import papers than the GTR was >2.0L, maybe that was it, .5% didn't represent too much money so I never pushed the issue. Customs hates Skylines and my car had been legal less...

Imported another - Toyota this time

1991 Celica GT-Four A. Factory wide-body car, the A makes it equipped like a USA-spec all trac, ABS, fog lights, alloy wheels, 10 speaker stereo, sunroof, etc. This one has 95,000km on it, turbo-back exhaust, larger intercooler (stock one was hiding in the trunk as well) and a larger rear sway bar (...

Re: S62 E30 AWD (Formerly: Fantastic V8 swap candidate)

The odometer drive gears in E30's disintegrate. There are aftermarket replacements available, but most people let it go a few thousand miles before they even start to think about fixing it. I'm not sure what he means by "odometer inconsistency"... inconsistent with what? Does the odo now ...

Re: I was told I would receive my own forum.

OZ wheels showed up today. Well some of them did. Box was smashed and obviously repackaged and taped up by UPS. Only 3 wheels in the box and all the packing material in one end. So the 3 wheels that did show up were touching each other.

And begins the claims process.

Re: I was told I would receive my own forum.

Ultimately I'd like to ditch them, but they are genuine Autometer, they work, and the pillar pod fits pretty well, so it's admittedly low on my to-do list.
