Aaron, looks like you need a pair of Rodney's dual deck-lid strut kit. Useing a crow-bar as a display looks tacky. (It does the job though)
I got a pair, but I ain't selling them... :la:

88 V6 oil pan removal??
On my old 86 GT removing the oil pan was impossible unless the engine was jacked or lifted about 2 inches for clearance to pull it out because of the engine mount. As a reference, is this the same for the 88 V6 models?? I don't have a 88 shop manual on hand, but would like to know if GM also improve...
