If you have room, use one of these for your temp and oil pressure. Just make sure to get one that is the proper size for your engine. I'm just using this one as an example. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blue-Aluminum-Oil-filter-Sandwich-plate-adapter-M18-M20-For-Oil-Temp-Sport-/331169590482?pt=Motors_Car_...

I am, but it's behind the Veloster which is currently stuck in the driveway until the roads are cleared. My 4x4 work truck is working pretty hard to get down the street.

Here we go again... almost 2 feet of snow in the last day. Can't even tell what my car is. Something tells me the legendary Subaru AWD isn't going to do shit. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/v/t1.0-9/10505503_10152587672884370_7672546352348654912_n.jpg?oh=158705eb0902f4034eed4...

Re: Dogs?
I had a great dog, rotty doberman cross. I got her at about 7 months as a rescue dog and she lived to about 10 years. I had to put her down a few years ago due to cancer and I still miss her. Best dog I've been around. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d78/crzyone_northstar/S3600026.jpg I did grow u...

New V-8 TDC?
http://www.hotrod.com/events/mercury-racing-teases-4-valve-ls-cylinder-heads-at-sema-2014/ Seems mercury is attempting the same thing GM did with the 3.4 Install a blank cam to drive the quad cams and voila, 4 cam LS. I like this better being all aluminum but I imagine it's also a large engine. Mayb...

Re: My 1997 STI
Walbro pumps are probably the most copied pumps out there. I'm sure some of the bad rep is from fake Chinese pumps but they are generally considered to be a good pump. Plus, the kit I have for mine makes it a 100% drop in, even the wiring. Car is going in Tuesday for it's new stage 2 comp clutch and...

That's the neighbors house lol It was 27C here 2 days ago (81F) and today the high was 37. It's just some strange cold snap, that's all you read about on Facebook right now up here. Snow doesn't stay on the ground until Halloween or so. If it snows around that time of year it's usually here for good.

Nice progress
Did temp or humidity ever seem to have an effect on the clutch holding? What do you plan on for your next clutch?

Re: My 1997 STI
Of course... As soon as I post that the max is 300whp I see this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqjDpZMT6Tk
430whp stock JDM EJ20... And reliable by the looks of it. I imagine he is running race fuel but I'm going to try and contact him for some info on his build.

Re: My 1997 STI
Information is so hard to find. The Canadian Subaru forums are really lacking in any real information. There is a real lack of serious builds to learn from as well. As far as I can tell the motors near peak power potential is around 300whp without a serious build. The EJ20K is an open deck design an...

Yeah I just remember doing mine to install the LT1 fuel pump. The hoses were near impossible to remove from the tank.
Pretty much all my JDM cars have the access panels as well, way easier.

Re: axial piston engine?
Out of the alternative engines I'm glad the Wankle made it to mass production. Those are some quirky little bastards. when they're good, they're awesome, when they're bad... Factory Mazda seals are fine for most stock setups, but as soon as you put that motor and a few turbos into a sports car guys...

Re: axial piston engine?
Took me a few minutes to find this. I remembered a show I watched a few years ago that showed a German WWII engine that had opposing cylinders. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junkers_Jumo_205 I forgot it was a diesel. This is a pretty neat failed design. I imagine it would be much better suited in a p...

Shitty, it's not a small amount of work to drop the tank on a fiero.

Re: Series inspired me, taking my turbo 3.4 to the track
I have some racing experience with a fiero but I always ran on a full tank. Do fieros suffer from fuel starvation during maneuvers? Is a swirl pot required? A turbo engine that starves for fuel under boost is a recipe for melted pistons.
