Hmm... The slave arm seems to me pretty easy to punch in. It's not in fits and starts, it's pretty easy to slide in till about 3/4 the way in, then it just kinda lets go (almost no resistance).

How much resistance should I be feeling in this thing?

Where is the inspection cover on an M19? All I can see is at the bottom of the motor and trans assembly where the flywheel DOMINATES the view... Or are you talking about slipping a mirror behind that? There's like 1/4" of clearance ;)

Hmm... But were you able to move the clutch arm freely while not engaging the clutch fingers? Mine seems to move just fine.
*sigh*

It's looking more like I'm going to have to drop the motor again... I'm heading out to have another look

Yep, custom crossover, goes over the shifter cable assembly. For now, it's mocked up in flex-pipe, so I can get the routing where I want it. It's going to be done up in 2" pipe once I drive it a bit to get a handle on any heat problems BEFORE I drop a few hundred on an exhaust. There's nothing ...

Clutch trouble

Well, the TDC is in, and it runs, but a problem I'm having is that the clutch will NOT disengage. I've bled the system pretty damn thoroughly, and I'm pretty stumped. Originally, it was an 84 4cyl with a 4 speed. I've tossed a 3400tdc into the bay, wired and assembled it. The clutch system worked fi...
