Will a northstar work with an Isuzu?
Just wondering. The northstar doesn't make the kind of torque that the sbc guys are making so I don't expect it would grenade an isuzu trani. There are also plenty 4. 9s running isuzu's and I havn't heard of any failing. I posted on my build thread why a 4 speed muncie won't work, here are the pictu...

Why should a country that is on the opposite side of the world feel obligated to feed and send money to other countries that have obviously too many people for the land to support? It should have nothing to do with America, or Canada or Europe. I mean really. If they want to stop dying of hunger, th...

Ford 5.0's and 4.6's are some of the sweetest sounding engines. Plenty of aftermarket as well. Good choice, will offer more reliability and fuel economy than a carbd engine. But if you want to do up a period ford motor, get the 351W, lots of aftermarket, easy to get 400-450hp out of them. For a dail...

Will, got another question. I'm trying to separate the auto trani from the N*. I have 4 bolts off on the bellhousing, the 2 top ones and the 2 bottom ones. The transmission will not separate from the engine but I can't see any other bolts holding it on. The water log looks like it attaches where the...

I dunno, for that price you could install a N*. The SD is cool but unless your doing some heavy duty racing then its just not worth it IMO. You could also build a turbo Ecotec for the same price as that motor would have gone for. Racing teams are getting well over 1000hp from ecotec's blocks, it is ...

Sweet. Seems to me I've never felt valve float with my 3.4 at around 7000rpm. But, I would probibly buy a brand new set of springs from chrfab unless the 3.4 springs end up having better specs. Just so we have it listed here, these are the stock caddy and chrfab's spring weights (On the Seat) - (Fac...

.and if you compare statistics of alzeimers from 50 years ago..to today..and compare that with meat consumption and the rise in it..it basically proves that alzeimers might not be our problem after all.. In the brains of patients who have died with Alzeimers they find high concentrations of Aluminu...

Thanks will, it sounds pretty good. Can't hardly hear the 300ZX that you were racing. Someday I would like to have headers but I think this swap will cost enough for now. After I get it in and running for awhile I may look into it. Looks like the computer to run my motor will end up costing $2500US,...

I was going to do a N* swap anyways, I had one before but the delivery truck that was transporting it was hit by a semi. The accident rolled the delivery truck and my motor went rolling down a hill. Thats when I decided to just play with what I have. I said to the seller if they get another N*, tell...
