I'm thinking with simply upgrading the transmission I could be faster, right?

I'm thinking a 2700 RPM stall, new shift kit and all in a rebuilt 4t40 transmission.

My upcoming undergraduate present to myself is a 350Z.

He honked the horn to go and got a good jump on me. This was the first time I had ever launched an automatic, let alone ...

I had to get under the car to see it, b...

Actually it looks like it all came out of the dipstick hole. The dipstick is still in place and bolted down. Someone that I know that runs an auto shop said that if the TQ converter breaks it can let go of all the fluid inside of it and fill the transmission with a lot of extra fuel and it will find...

FS: V6 Fiero Heads

Up for sale is a set of 2.8L Fiero heads. I pulled these off to upgrade to a set of ported heads. There is nothing wrong with these ones. I am asking $80 shipped. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y83/OsloFiero/100_4858.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y83/OsloFiero/100_4859.jpg These came off of...

Update: I drove the car for almost 100 miles yesterday where my car club met up with a bunch of other folks in 3 other clubs and the car was driving great. It has some driveability issues, but nothing major that I can't get worked out soon... http://www.clubredline.net/gallery/data/media/39/100_4931...

Are you sure its not the dist o-ring? They can be deceiving, check that first. If not, your SOL until you pull the manifold. What did you use for sealant? I recommend the high temp black RTV, and plenty of it. An old hot-rodders trick is to dimple the block with a punch a dozen times on each side, ...
