The intake is a modified stock peice from a 81 Citation 2.8. The plenum was opened up and an adapter was welded to the top. The carb has been setting for years and may need to be rebuilt. I used the S10 distributor with this setup. I'll make you a package deal, $60 for the headers, carb&manifold...

The wheels have been sold.

I want you to know that the headers are in poor, but useable condition. This is the reason for the low price.

I'm building a .030 over 400, so it would be a 406. The 434 is a .030 over 400 sbc block with a 4" stroke.

I had originally thought about using a 400 block and a 3" stroke. It came out to just over 350ci. I finally said "fuck it" and began building the largest engine I could afford. If I had the extra dough it would be a 434.

My rotorless 85 RX7

Here's the future home of a 400ci SBC with aluminium heads.

With the 700R4 transmission and 9" rear diff, it should be a fast and reliable ride.

You may get a ticket for just driving on the street with them on your car. The 710 is a DOT approved tire, but you may be hassled due to their lack of a tread pattern.

A friend of mine had an original 914-6. It had mechanical fuel injection, headers, roll bar & chassis stiffened, and a bunch of suspension work. When he sold it, he got $30k.

You better buy a spare gearbox or two. They like to eat them.

Renault R5 Turbo

If money were no object, I would like a vintage Can Am racer. Preferably a McLaren M20 or Porsche 917/30.

One of my on going projects is putting an aluminum headed 400 SBC into an 85 RX7. 2400# car with 300 hp should be fun, if I ever finish the damn thing.
