Steering rack bushings

Can anyone direct me to steering rack mounting bushings. preferably poly.

I cant seem to find any for sale on the usual sites.

Not available. You need to make custom ones.

I thought I had found at some point billet pillow block mounts that may be adaptible to the Fiero rack...

That looks like it may work for the passenger side, but you still have to fabricate something for the driver side mount, which, at least on the '88s, isn't round.

At $210 a set, I don't really see those being a cost effective alternative. :shock:

Oh wow, I missed that too.

Here's a polyurethane or delrin replacement for the driver's side C4 rack bushing: http://dougrippie.com/products/corvette ... -bushings/

(I'm running a C4 rack)

They might also allow someone to mount up a Pinto rack instead of the Fiero rack... MUCH more aftermarket support. Flaming River has a huge variety of stuff, and Wilwood and other racing manufacturers can build whatever we can imagine.
