It would be a close race, the fiero is also quick off the line. Shaun is right, as soon as you putting corners into the equation the skyline will win hands down.

Ryan, I would have to say that $/hp would go to the skyline to get to the 5-600hp range.

I've never heard of a fiero that has that much hp lasting more than a few 1/4 mile runs, let alone standing up to constant abuse.
Yes.

And I don't disagree with the corners... Stock fiero vs stock skyline? Come on... :3some:

How much money does it take to get a skyline to 500hp?

I can't read that, but it looks like 230hp? What's with the flat lines that are on all your graphs?

Those flat lines look like the tq curve to me. Notice they cross the hp at 5250 rpm

The lower flat line that is red is boost.

The upper flat line is torque

Middle one is AF

Just reading back in this thread, its too bad Donk will not be able to see what his car would have put down with a boost controller and a de-cat.

This spring I imagine his car will be around 400hp at the wheels when he is done rebuilding it.

Maybe I will get a baseline with my car and add those few parts to see what kind of difference I can get.

The HKS intakes? If so then yes he did. He is selling me his M's intakes. I don't think there is a performance difference between the 2 but the HKS intakes look more bling.

I bought a set of APEXI intakes (yeah they made it Shaun)

crzyone is getting my set of M's intakes. Only difference is APEXI uses a funnel design on the air filter. But both air filters are K&N purpley gauze with Aluminum intake elbows.

Cool. Glad they did. I didn't hear anything about it and I was a bit worried.

Just bumping this up, was reading through it.

When Donk pulled off his cat after the kid wrecked his engine he found that the honeycomb inside was all broken and a lot of pieces were actually sideways completely restricing flow.

Not sure if he grabbed any pictures of it but it was amazing the car made 230awhp period. His torque curve probably wouldn't have fallen off in the higher RPMs like they do on the graph. The turbos are maxed out by how much stress the ceramic turbines can handle, not limited by flow. Guess we will never know what his car could have done stock, I imaing his next dyno numbers will be in the 500+hp range.

I ordered a test pipe for my car as well, should see good gains getting rid of the 18 year old cat.

A few months after I bought my Formula, the cat disintegrated while I was on a trip. It was an aftermarket replacement cat. I cut it out and it was just powder inside. As I limped it into my destination it wouldn't go faster than idle in first gear.
