Has anyone come up with a working pattern for seat rails that will work with other seats?

The pattern where the seat rails bolt to the floor or where the seats bolt to the seat rails?

I guess I am interested in seeing how people mounted non fiero seats in the fiero and if there was any issues, ie; sitting to high etc etc.

You can mount a set of aftermarket or OEM (different vehicle) seats with a piece of 1/8" iron. Which equates to zero difference in seat height.

What specifically are you mounting? Hypotheticals are boring.

Awesome, that is what I was looking for.
I have an amazing set of Grand Prix STE leather mega power seats that I wanted to install but I dont think at this time they will work cause of the amount of motors in the seats.

Those also sit really high, so you'll have to be very short in the torso to use them in a Fiero.

Yeah I want to pull the passenger seat from the STE today and see how high it sits in my spare Fiero.
