I'm sure it's plenty expensive though...
Will, your link is screwy (remove the '' at the end)

That's one odd duck...never heard of it! Any idea what it was created for? Only $3800 from gmpartsdirect.com what a steal! Copied for future reference...what a weird engine!

Fixed.

Every few months someone on Pfiffle "discovers" that block. This is the first view I've seen of it clearly showing the bellhousing bolt pattern.
Not sure why it's made that way, other than the possibility of the regular Chevy pattern being too big for the reduced deck height. With the combo of raised cam with short deck height and roller cam bearings, it's clearly intended to rev sky high.

Murray 14188, available from O'Reilly. Good find.

Here's the crimper I use by the way: http://www.amazon.com/Mastercool-71550- ... ol+crimper

I used it to make new lines for my 3.4 DOHC Fiero. The only problem I've had with it is that it's a bit bulky, so it's sometimes hard to get around lines that run close together.

From these images you can see that AK1053 and AK1195 have a larger shock body diameter. This might not fit through the lower control arm on the 88 Fiero.

I'm surprised Cone engineering and Columbia river mandrel aren't on here yet.

cone makes merge collectors in all shapes and sized, CRM also has collectors, along with a wide variety of mandrel bands (duh)

http://www.coneeng.com/

I haven't ordered from cone, but I have from CRM, their stuff was nice, shipping was reasonable, and so was turn around time.

I haven't used Cone, but I have ordered from Columbia River for both The Mule's exhaust AND coolant connections. They have great prices and a wide selection/inventory. They're MUCH cheaper than Burns or the usual suspects.

they both buy stuff from each other, but don't offer all of each other's products. Cone is mainly collectors, and they have quite the selection too.
