Wow, good deal.

If I had that ecu instead of the POS bigstuff 3 I would still have my car. Frustrating with it never quite running correctly. Nobody else had a 2000+ N* at the time, and breaking new ground wasn't what I should have been doing.

This makes me want to sell a car and get an 88GT to put this in :-D

For the right $$ I'd let this go w/ it.

Looks interesting. I'll be going to a 6 speed eventually, so you snagged my attention with the F40; the pre-modified '88 cradle looks tempting too, as does the MEFI...

But I have zero need for more engines...

Yea, the only thing is that the $$ of what I'd want for the GT is going to be enough that most if not all people would say I was nuts. I really happened to fall into the car by happenstance and TBH 20K mile GT's are getting kinda hard to find and when you do they want damn near a mint for 'em. TBH, I think that I'd fall into that camp as well. :unknown:

If you can't sell at that price, fiero owners have not changed one bit.

If I didn't already have 2 cars...

So what would one need to complete an install?

Fiero
The various 88 rear suspension bits
Exhaust/intake
Clutch/pressure plate
Shifter cables

Anything else?

Very cool site - I just .pdf'd the link. If this thing does not sell, I'll have to put the info to good use.

If you had an 88 Fiero already, I'd say exhaust, axles, clutch ( the flywheels included; see pics above or click [here] ) Electric H20 pump, as this was the plan that I was going to due hence the machined AN fittings on the block.

Standard fuel lines, water lines, ect... and its installed. Just that easy... 8)

So they cobalt axles aren't bolt-in?

What do you do for axles on a F40?

I have the axles for the SS Cobalt yes, they are not drop in for the Fiero tho. I was going to use the input shaft side into the G6 trans, and then fab the other half that goes into the Fiero hub.

It's probably easiest to just order some axles from the Driveshaft Shop after you mount the drivetrain and get some measurements.

Damn, you'd think that I couldn't give this shit away. WTH? :unknown:

Not even an E-mail asking about it. Is the N* market just that non-desirable? Am I asking too much?

If I were just getting started on a Northstar swap, I'd be all over this.

No doubt you have a lot of outstanding hardware at a fantastic price... just hold out for the right buyer.
