uh... if you mix it with soda, it's no longer 100 proof.

That's something to brag about? So what hardcore liquor do you drink? Boone's Farm?

rumble mintz. (its imported from germany) i make an exception for my 100 proff rule for my 2 boys Captnin and JackD. my girlfriend recentley got me doing shots of smirnoff cuz we ran out of the other good stuff. As far as beer coronna molsonXXX (bud sometimes) miller yingling stuff like that. I dont party a whole lot but when I do its gona be one crazy night.

rumble mintz is my favorite though $20 per handel its 100 proof you can mix it with any kinda soda and it tastes awsome. Doin shots of it is a whole diffrent ball game. It tastes like your drinking straight pepermint and if you down it to fast it comes right back up your nose. cool thing is it dosent have that real grimey after taste most shots have. Only problem with it is if you dont eat anything before you start drinking it, it will mess you up real fast.

only if you achieve a homogonous mixture. The alcohol should seperate and still maintain its proof. (%/vol.)

Keystone Light, been drinking it a lot lately. 15 pack for $19.50. You guys think that's expensive, but a regulat 12 pack is about $23 here... I've seen the exact same beer sold in the states for $12. Damn taxes!

Funny commercials too

I've been slowly working on a bottle of Chivas Regal for a while...

I visited Bushmills distillery in Ireland and Ben Nevis in Scotland while I was on leave from Iraq. Mixing good whiskey about 50/50 with water really brings out the nose and makes it a much more enjoyable sipping drink.

Holy shit, blast from the past thread!

Keystone light, yeah, good stuff. My buds from up north used to drink a lot of it. Beer's expensive as hell up there.

Chivas Regal... ? What's that?

The one thing that I have embraced fully about the state of Michigan since I moved here 7 years ago is their beer. MI is filled with great breweries. Bell's, Arcadia, Shorts, Founders, and Darkhorse are all larger breweries and I can find their beer in pretty much any store. Then within a 3-mile drive of my house there is 6 microbreweries (Royal Oak Brewery, Woodward Ave Brewery, Black Lotus Brewery, Bastone, Lily's, Mill-king-it).

As far as a few of my particular favorites:

-Bell's Hopslam
-Bell's Oberon
-Royal Oak Brewery's Cherry Ale
-Bastone's Chocolate Porter
-Lily's and Mill-King-it's IPA's

I don't do too much liquor. I get mean. I just usually drink from the rocky mountain streams

And Jesus would be proud of this resurrection.

Fuck Jesus and the Jews, I'm proud of this resurrection. Props to crzyone for digging it up. Damn those were some crazy times in '09.

Putting down some Chivas, Will's way.

Good man. :-D

The tour guide at Ben Nevis told us "Only piss-heads drink whiskey for effect".

Yeah, this place was quite the party house a couple of years ago.

A scotch drinker, nice. I don't mind sipping on one now and then. As for sipping whiskeys, still like Crown Royal on the rocks.

When it's cold out I switch to whiskey, summer is beer season. I'm on the verge of the switch. I say in a couple weeks we'll have snow on the ground.

The cold kills the nose, so scotch on the rocks is not recommended.

Crown Royal's good stuff. I had a decent glass of that at a baby shower I went to a couple of weeks ago.

I missed what you said there. Yeah, I like crown on the rocks, but a scotch just gets a dab of water.

I was never a whiskey drinker, and I hate to say it but Battlestar Galactica made me a whiskey drinker. They are always pounding it down, made me want to drink it more. Same for my room mate, he watched it with me and how he's an avid whiskey guy. He has to water it down a lot more than I do though. I like it straight on the rocks.

My girlfriend bought me whiskey stones that you freeze and use to put in whiskey so it cools it but doesn't water it down.

Pretty neat idea.

Two shots of Wild Turkey American Honey, six Michelob Ultra, and one glass of wine (dinner) in. This is how I deal with having tomorrow off to paint the roofline on the Fiero. Fucking hate painting.

My buddy bought this "vodka mudshake" drink which is supposed to be like egg nog and spiced rum. Not bad for the first few sips but gets gross after that. Not a fan of sweet drinks.

I did buy a 60 of Crown the other day. Some whiskey for the hollidays :-D

Yeah, like I said, the first few sips when it tasted like egg nog.

I just have regular egg nog and spiced rum. It's like a meal.

Being gluten sensitive sucks. Happened just before last Christmas...

So now I'm restricted to drinking Ciders such as Strongbow and other non wheat or barley based alcohol. Can have wine but don't like it. At least Strongbow in a glass looks kinda like beer lol....

BTW, gluten Free beer is nasty.

I miss real beer damnit.
