hey guys.
Just got my 87 2.5 fiero back
previous owner chased clutch demons all over the place (new MC, slave cyl, clutch, etc.)
he didn't know how to bleed a fiero system so he removed the hard clutch line
he cut off the fitting that goes into the slave cylinder
can i just get the fitting and part of a hard clutch line and splice them together with hose or is the PSI too high?

Rodney Dickman sells a repair kit that will allow you to replace the flex line (and the fitting you need) and part of the hard line instead of the entire clutch line.

installed correctly the compression fittings work fine on a clutch system - not safe for brakes but they work fine on a clutch - i've repaired fiero clutch lines that way in the past with no issuesGooch wrote:I got Rodney's repair line. I am going to instal it tomorrow.
Do those compression fittings included that are supposed to join the two cut ends of line really work?
