HAHAHA - love the responses!
I just got it cause I ripped it on trade, gets outstanding gas mileage and is a little bit more practical right now than my 88 K5 and my '04 Moostang GT
Only plans are dropping it at least 1.5" and powdercoating the wheels flat black, thats about it. I couldnt give a rats ass about being one of these tuner kids, it's a damn Neon
Was just a really good deal and I got tired of waiting for an 05 or newer GTO to come in on trade and wasn't going to pay the depreciation on a new G8.
Oddly enough these things are pretty damn strong as far as book value goes, we gave 10,500 on trade, after smog, pack, recon ( used vehicle reconditioning ), safety, and paying the employee mandatory $1,000 over cost it came out to $13,300 - mix that with an 8.9% for 60 as well as a bitchen warranty for cost ( 4 year, 48k ) it was still BELOW bluebook wholesale - just would have been foolish to pass up
And I swear to God I won;t be one ofthese assholes wanting to race and claiming some stoopid shit, it's my commuter - and if I ever do, I hereby give permish to come on out and beat my ass hahaha
But don;t worry, hopefully in 1.5 years, Eric will finally have a home of his own with an honest to god garage thats all his and is going to swoop up some POS $200 beater Fiero, take it down to chassis, and fill it up with some WCF parts that "fell off the truck" and a sick 3800 - hopefully by then the Series 3 will be mastered and I will scoop up on someone's abandoned project, that will probably be when you guys are doing Series friggen 7's, hahaha

well, I havent had enough time to really drain the tank - if put about 60 miles on it and the needle hasn't moved enough to really make a calculation.
I just can't get over how smooth the clutch is, very smooth transitions between shifts. The hardest part is getting used to these damn seats. I have sold 3 of these before and I thought I would have realized how uncomfortable these bastards are - halfway tempted to throw in some stock SXT seats and put these one's in storage.
I just can't get over how much bullshit is available for these damn things. I plan on getting some coil overs and making a trip out to WCF and my next days of and going through the suspension, and seeing what little nick-nack bullshit I can spit out of a CNC and lathe while I'm there, maybe some billett fluid caps or something if a get really bored.

Well, just got back from the new shop out there - DAMN, you could eat off of every square inch of that place, I guess they just finished construction not too long ago.
Anyways, made a dogbone for it but I belive I'm gonna have another go at it - haven't picked up a TIG torch in 4 years and it shows, I think the next one is either going to be steel an chromed or just mild steel, made this one out of AL. But it looks like Chris might want to venture into the SRT-4 market as I gave him a quick run through on how about 90% of the garbage out there is bogus.
Next week is gonna be pulling off the wheels and seeing if the 13" viper rotors will work, essentially like the 88 Fiero brake caliper relocation. The rotors appear to provide enough backspacing so that the factory wheel can be retained.
Also, something has to be dome about some power on this thing, according to the boost gauge it hits the wall at 10psi then super quickly goes back to 7psi under boost. Kinda thinking that maybe there might be a leak in the charge pipe or something related, that or it's just the way it's supposed to be
How come all these WRX's Iv noticed lately keep reving up on me, it's anoying as a motherfucker, but I didnt want to foot the bill for $600 + a month payments on a Subaru, even though in the end it's prolly worth it

Eric, get Chris to make some hard pipes for the turbo. If he can make a bigger intercooler for a PT GT, he would have a corner on the market. No one makes one now as "its too small of a market". Compared to Fieros, the PT Cruiser community is much bigger and more affluent.
Whatever big brake kit you make for the SRT4 will also fit the PT. Sounds like a great idea. I want Viper brakes on my car!

My Fiero is now a Finale. The end.
