Lisle Cam Holder p/n 38220

Post by Series8217 »

Has anyone used this before? I'm wondering how well it would work on a DOHC to hold the cam cogs while tightening the lock bolts.

It's available here: http://www.amazon.com/Lisle-38220-Unive ... B0002SQZPO

I can't tell how big or sturdy it is from the pic..

Haven't used one, but used to sell lisle tools. In my opinion lisle is a great price option for tools that you're only gonna use infrequently, and not really beat on. I've got one of their wheel stud installers, for $20 and the once every other year I've used it, I can't complain. If I worked at a wheel/alignment shop, I'd probably have to replace the thrust bearing once a month.
