I worked with a guy who had one and he was always bragging how awesome it was, but that the company went bankrupt making it. Truth is his never ran right. Kinda like my brothers tecate 4, fast and awesome, the two times it ran.

they did go bankrupt trying to make it. they went in to fast and to hard so they went down. the truth is they were faster then everything out at the time. everything was over engineered. the reasons your buddy's didn't last was prolly because of maintance. they require new gear oil and engine oil about every ride. they only hold around 1.3 quarts of each.

the comparison between an 80's two stroke is a little off the wall. i would rebuild the top end on my race bikes every other race on my CR's.

well i took it out for it's first ride yesterday. i really like it. the quad is unlike any of the quads i've ever been on. we did some drag racing out in a hay field between a 06 yfz 450 with hmf full pipe and jet kit, 04 raptor 660 with full yosh and jet kit, ltz 400 with full yosh pipe and jet kit, bone stock kdx 200 dirt bike, and a bone stock cr450f dirt bike. we even had a flag girl

but i beat everyone till about 65ish. then the crf would blow by me like i hit reverse instead of 5th. that bike is f'ing fast.

all in all it was a good day. the quad felt great jumping. very neutral weight balance.

good day. no one expected my stock quad to be so quick

Dirt bikes are stupid fast top end... I have a Honda trx450R with a 470 kit and everything else, plus MX suspension etc... My old YZ426 with a full pipe, filter, timing key and race gas would tear my quad up past 4th gear... It was crazy.

+1 for ATV's... It's a hobby that I put too much money into, and have way too much fun on..... haha.
