Thinking about buying an 85SE
Looked at an 85SE today. Duke 5speed. Runs and drives, clutch feels okay. Total pile body wise, bumperpad notchie. Has a sunroof but siliconed shut. I could probably remove the silicone and fix it. Car got hit up front (frame looks fine) but bodywork was replaced with red panels so the guy sprayed them flat black with a rattle can. Has a factory spoiler custom mounted (further back with nice big holes drilled into the decklid). 1/2 of a factory luggage rack, the outer rails were removed along with the back rail for the spoiler. Has a Mazda tapedeck... Interior is crappy in some places, seats aren't the worst I've ever seen, but the bolsters are green???? Power locks and power windows which work. Headlights are stuck up. 91,000 original miles. Got a new set of cooper tires on it with 14" steelies, guy is throwing in the 14" aluminum SE wheels with tires that look fine but just aren't holding air, so perhaps the beads are bad. Hes also throwing in some older good condition mickey thompson drag tires that could find their way onto my 3800 car. He wants $300. Thoughts?

Lexus RX330. Drove the 3800SC car today, I need someone to tack weld the part of the cradle mount in the frame rail that comes loose. Which is part of the 85SE deal, the guy works at a shop and he will get my frame welded. This car is a 5speed though and I regret doing a 3800SC auto, so I can pretend one day I will swap it too.
