Happy that I got it yes. Not Happy due to all the trouble from dealing with "The One We Don't Speak Of"...

Last week with one of the CFF club members we reviewed my Fiero and these are some of the things we found:

- Seat was not lowered for the choptop. (I questioned this and was told it is lowered by ar-chie)
- Front/Rear bumper impact egg crates are missing. (does anyome have a set I can have?).
- Wrong coolant was added (green stuff instead of orange). Have to flush the cooling sys.
- Pin holes on the body (given).
- Gaps in between the fiberglass parts (going to take lots of work).
- Left front fender side burn is crooked (I thought so).
- Hood vent not cut out (always some excuse why it wasn't done).

I have also decided to scrap the Diablo mirrors due to it bothers me way too much every time I see them anywhere.

EDIT:
This is why you want to be in driving distance from the shop working on your car so you can check up on it.

Update:
This evening I picked up one of my Diablo replica mirrors (from where my car is stored) to photograph and sell on CraigsList and ebay... Guess what, the wire harness to the mirror's motor was never put back in.  Conclusion: You have people that don't give a sh!t and then you have V8-ar chie. :crybaby: The bad part is these mirrors where imported from Brazil. Don't worry about it ar-chie, I will be in Daytona '09 doing your marketing.

You may not be correct about that. Most coolant today is universal, and will work for either green or orange systems. This stuff is also colored green, or orange, depending on the stuff you get. The green coolant in my car also works in DexCool systems (Orange). So just because it isn't orange, doesn't mean it won't work.

With how many people have problems with dexcool, I'd just as soon stick with green. Besides that, as soon as a system becomes contaminated with silicates from the green coolant, you lose the benefits of the organic coolants - you have to change it every year anyways. Of course, the fiero system started with green coolant to begin with, so you couldn't get around that unless you replaced everything

IMHO, just stick with it, as long as you know it's not a mix of green and orange...
My fiero is aliiiive!!

Thanks for letting me know. I read that DexCool couldn't be mix other coolants or water, it would gunk up.

I have a 3800 SCII. I'm going to flush the dexcool out and switch to green stuff.

typical Archeee quality.

I find it funny that after months of him knowing that the lines on that body panel were crooked, he still never fixed it, even though you paid him to do it right the first time!!!

Like I said typical V8Archie crap.

"Its all in the details" :rotflmao:
FieroPhrek working on that ls4 swap for 18 years and counting now. 18 years!!!!! LOL

And you're right. However nowaday, a lot of places don't even sell DexCool, they just sell coolant that works mixed with either geen or Dex, and it is not color specific (I've bought orange and green stuff that's universal). So I would just stick with ordinary auto parts store coolant. It's worked fine for half a century.
