are you using a camera that has a video feature? Or are you using a camcorder? If camcorder then you need to get a new one. hehe

lol, its my roomates actual digital video cam. It does 1280x720 @ 30fps and the audio is rather quite nice outside of the car. Once he gets in, stuff gets crazy, ahh well. Maybe I'll have to resort to more 'drive-by' videos...

small little picture update..

A few people have asked about my air filter setup since the turbo is so close to the firewall. This is the best pic I could get of it, and its still fairly shitty. If you look close enough, you can see the red 4" straight coupler on the intake of the turbo, a 4" Exhaust Donut (ouch), and then my shitty filter hanging underneath.

BOV and my IAT sensor location..

Full engine bay shot including my 'self-burp' IC tank.

Man it makes my setup look brutally simple. I like that your air filter can at least pretend to get decent air.. i have no idea what mine gets being directly behind the motor.

Hey now, this is my only car, lol. It gets me to class everyday at 8am, to the grocery store, car meets an hr away, and will be making the trip back to CT for thanksgiving.

I'm a dorky mech. engineer in training, I don't need more than a backpack or dufflebag.

Yeah, but I'm IC'd. I prefer NOT to have 80*+ air going thru my engine if I don't have to.

Damn, wish I had a crappy camera with me tonight. I put about 2 cars on a 2001 Trans am WS6 with a single turbo runnin off a 7psi wg spring he said. Other than a turbo cam, I don't know whats done to the car. I caught up with him later on and all he could was was "dude, seriously, wtf." He was really confused about what just happened. Turbo fiero was outtie. ftw!

I'm Running 18psi and it was about 50* tonight

Nice run dude. That ws6 is probably a mid to high teen car. Its awesome you are running 18 psi on a stock bottom end. Sounds like you got a pretty good tune on that thing. I also think its great your tranny is holding up with all that tq. I am guessing you raced him from a roll?

18 is what most people street with crappier turbos, and automatic transmissions.

I would expect race gas/race tune PSI to be around 23-24, for an extra 150-200whp over what your seeing on 18.

Maybe I missed it but is there a thread here with pics and such of DH's turbo fieros he has built and raced? I don't know maybe its just me but I don't think I have seen any of his turbo builds.
