These are a couple video's I found from about 2 years ago of myself and my friend Stan at the dragstrip. This is when my car had the built V6 and nitrous. I was running a 50 shot and my clutch was not getting along with me. In this video you can see the puffs of smoke out of the exhaust near the end of the run where the engine backfired and I let off. You can also see how hard my car launches. I run a 14.4. 60' time was a 2.0 if I have the right timeslip in front of me.
The next video is of me driving Stans car. His car has a 3800 series 2 Supercharged engine and a Getrag 5 speed. The engine is completely stock and still has all the programming for the automatic in it and I believe it might be in limp home mode. This run was the fastest run the car has ever made. It was after I dropped the tire pressure to 18 psi (from 45psi). Was a good launch and I ened up beating the caprice.

Yeah. Decided to do an engine swap instead of rebuild the V6. I've also got some mods for the 4 . 9 this winter. My Allante intake showed up today.Fred Savage wrote:Nice vids, thats a pretty quick caprice.
Did you give up the V6 for the Peice of shit?
