It's on page 154 of the 2008 SCCA solo rule book. The Oldsmobile 442 HO w41 is on the exclusion list for stock class cars. In other words, it's too good to race in the stock classes.

I guarantee you it wasn't on the list because of its earth shattering 190hp. It's on there because, as the reading impaired dumbfuck stated, the chassis. I'm not arguing the chassis. I'm arguing the motor wasn't the reason. And it wasn't, because it is not a good AutoX motor. It'd be terrible.

The Lotus Elise is also excluded, and its power has been as low as 135. It isn't about the engine in AutoX. I had 417whp, the fastest car there, and was nearly the slowest. They weren't excluded because of the heavy, unreliable, top-end biased engine.

To expand on this a little bit (the W41 being a car, not Aaron being an idiot), Olds has a fairly long history of W-series performance packages, starting with the W-30 as early as 1966:

To get back on topic...I wouldn't be suprised to see the Fiero GTU car go for 30-40K. I'd also give up my only remaining nut for it.
