Yeah, don't change a thing. People who get married, and then think something has happened, and their relationship needs to change, is where you have problems. The marriage is simply a promise and a tax write off.

Best wishes, and good luck!

Read this:

Don't get a state marriage license. Don't make the state a party to your marriage.

Just had my 1 year wedding anniversary a couple months ago.

I gotta comment on what DiggityBiggity said;

Don't expect things to change, accept that things may change, and be aware that she may expect things to change.

Take your vows seriously. Marriage is a contract.

It is done. And the marriage has been consumated. Alot :thumbleft:

We started "dating" about 6 years ago, we understand each other pretty well. She doesn't mind my various obsessions (cars, guns, computers), though I don't think I have to worry too much about her taking my Fiero. Been living together for about 2 years.

The bridesmaids, unfortunately, were all married.

Hehe. At least the combined weight of my wedding party was <10 tons.

Here's a pic from senior prom about 5 years ago:

I'm the fag. Add a much farther receding hair line and you have what the wedding probably looked like.
