I've been musing for a while about taking the front of the stock shifter and raising it (along with the console of course), tilting the center stack back a bit (or bringing the radio out, then tilting back), in order to make a more flowing center console/stack combo, kinda like an NSX. Or an old Alfa.

If would also get the shifter higher and bring it closer to the driver. It doesn't need to be any higher, but I wouldn't mind it being closer for powershifting into 3rd.
